Looks like you are jumping right in and using and sharing with others at this site. Keep being active and sharing. Your question helped me get some of my regular recipes into my food tracker in an easier way than I had been using. And I have been doing it in a more cumbersome way.

Michelle. Open one of your recipes from your collection and you will see several boxes to the side. One is to add to your nutrition tracker for the day. When you do that, it will have a box that says add to my favorites. Make sure that is checked also. This way you have it in your tracker for the day you made it and can pull it up on your favorite list on the tracker in the future. Hope this helps.

Hi! I am brand new to Sparkspeople and so far I love it! I do need some help with something, though. I'd like to add several of my own recipes just for myself to use on my daily tracker. I see that I have the option of sharing or not sharing so I think I chose not to share. When I try to search for the recipe though, it doesn't show up. Do I have to "share" it in order for it to show up in a Search? I did add it to my Recipe Collection but I don't see the option of searching my personal recipe collection when I'm trying to add something to my daily tracker. I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Please help! Thanks :o) BTW, my goal is to lose 30 pounds by June 1, 2014... my birthday!
