Don't worry, I don't! I just really, really wish I could have done a copy and paste on the old tracker before I left it. Seven months of inputting recipes doesn't get reentered in a heartbeat.

If you are happy with tracking your food intake (and you are getting accurate information) on another site; then continue to use that site for your tracking. Stick with Sparkpeople for the other helpful and supportive tools, resources, message boards, and teams.

Don't feel like you are forced to "track" here.

I know, but when you cook from scratch, one meal can mean looking up 30 or so things. When I was doing Biggest Loser, I had all my main recipes on their tracking site, along with several others. After I moved to maintenance, though, I switched programs, and I only track calories when I start sliding in the wrong direction. (I still weigh myself weekly.) Because of this, I still have a ton of recipes that haven't been figured out.

It is also one of the main reasons I do not use this site's calorie counter. I refuse to start from scratch again!

I agree with Becky. Enter you most used recipes first. I have quite a few of mine I can quickly track, but then I've been a SP for a while now.

Don't forget about Groupings too. Very helpful.

Entering your recipes does take some time---but the pay off is big! It makes tracking so much easier.

I added a new recipe into my calorie counter today! I try to do one a day, but I am lucky if I do one or two a week. If the recipes I used were already magically entered into the counter, a lot of the calorie counting stress would be gone.
