can you grow the plant aloe vera? if you can each day snip off about an inch of leaf then split the leaf to rub the gel over the skin after u have washed. It cleared up my skin problems and my kids skin problems. Its natural and cheap.....You can buy products with aloe vera in them but i have found the real plant used that way works better.

I have this problem sometimes........Rarely on my stomach but on m y inner thighs.........I just make sure i shower after i work out and I just usually step in the shower for a second and rinse off my body. Even if i have already showered on the day.............It feels good to quickly rinse of the day

When I started working out, I waitted until I got home to shower, because of the cold weather, in that 20 minute time, my back broke out pretty badly.
I needed antibiotics to clear it up.
Before that, you can try washing the area right before, applying anti acne cream like salicylic acid (benzoyl perxide dyes fabric) and then right after you are done, wiping the area down again, and using an astrigent to kill some germs and then shower as soon as possible.
I hope it helps, my back acne was painfail and embarassing.

The acne body wash and a shower right after a work out help a lot, don't be afraid to try an old school remedy too, bleach baths. In a full tub (just below where a standard tub has the overflow drain) add 1/4 cup of bleach and take a soak. 10 or 15 minutes, dry off mostly and use a good moisturizer, the bleach really dries out the skin. I've had some really bad problems with body acne (that improved some when I lost weight) and even the acne washes didn't prevent break outs. The bleach, once a month or so, does and the scars are gone as well.
I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.
I got tired of starting over and working back to where I was, so I have stopped giving up!

I would check with a doctor to see what can be done about the scarring. It's amazing how far various types of surgeries have come along. Although a scar can never be completely removed, there are scar revision surgeries that make them much less noticeable.

Not on my stomach but my inner thighs and under my bewbs. It IS embarrassing, but the only advice I have is to shower immediately after you work out. As for the scars, there's not much you can do about it but keep it moisturized. Have you tried an anti-acne body wash like the one that Neutrogena makes.

Does anyone else have a problem with acne on their stomach? I am guessing I get it because I sweat and it leads to breakouts. I know this is an embarrassing question, but I was hoping others may have some insight on how to treat the scars they have left behind.
