You saved my sanity Denise !! Here's the step-by-step breakdown in case Admin want to add it to the Help Section where I was not able to locate this info:
STEP 1: CLICK ON THE "ADD AN INGREDIENT" BUTTON

STEP 2: LOOK JUST BELOW THE SEARCH BOX FOR THE WORDS, “ADD FROM FAVORITES” AND A DROP-DOWN MENU NEXT TO IT.

STEP 3: CLICK ON THE DROP-DOWN MENU AND SELECT YOUR ITEM.

STEP 4: ONCE YOU SELECT IT, ENTER THE AMOUNT THAT YOU NEED.

STEP 5: THEN CLICK THE BUTTON TO ADD THE FOOD ITEM.

I checked your account and see that you do have that listed in your favorites section. I actually did a test item called test and unfortunately that is in there too and I can't remove it at this time, so you can just ignore that one. To use your flour entry, in the recipe calculator, click on the "add an ingredient" button. Instead of typing something into the search box, look just below that section and you will see the words "add from favorites" and a drop down menu next to it. Click on the drop down menu and select your item (one of your entries shows it as 1 serving and the other shows as 0.25 cup). Once you select it, enter the amount that you need, then click the button to add the food item.

I hope that helps!

Hi there Denise,

I'm entering through the Recipe section where you are constructing your recipe and selecting ADD AN INGREDIENT NOT LISTED HERE.

Thanks!

Are you entering it through your nutrition tracker page or from the recipe calculator page?

Hi there...love the picture of your precious cat first of all.
I want to add ALMOND FLOUR to the data base for my recipe:

The bag of flour says:
Serving = 1/4 cup.
I entered .25 and it kicked out saying the quantity was incorrect.

It might be easier for you to just give me Step 1, Step 2, etc.

Thanks so much Coach !!

If you enter it as a decimal, the system should take that as a correct number/quantity. I'm not sure what you mean that it saved to the regular section though. Can you give me more info about this and what steps you took to enter that?

I'm attempting to add Almond Flour (Bob's Red Mill) to the food database.

The bag of flour says:
Serving = 1/4 cup.
I entered .25 and it kicked out saying the quantity was incorrect.

I then entered 1/4 cup and it too kicked out.

I then left the quantity as 1 serving and when I clicked on SAVE it didn't acknowledge that it was saved.

I did a search for ALMOND FLOUR and it just went to the regular section.

Please advise I am really frustrated.
Thanks sooooo much :))
