One motivational phrase I read on a Sparkpeople motivational page says that it doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you don't give up. I have found this to be true because I have gone through working hard and not getting the results I expected at the time I expected them. I have since learnt that our bodies respond differently to exercise and eating right. For some the results are almost immediate, and for others like me it takes a while. Now that I know it, I concentrate on consistently exercising and eating right and after a while I start to see results and others do too. Just yesterday someone noticed I had lost more weight when I hadn't even noticed myself (it's been almost 2 months since I weighed myself!). My advice to you is, focus on the positive and take this journey one step, one hour, one day at a time and you will be amazed at the results. Don't give up!
