Thanks for the tip! I have those "carb cravings" during the afternoon, so I'm going to try your suggestion!

So glad you found something that is working for you.

One thing that helps me is having a later dinner, planning a small dessert 2 hours or so later, and keeping very busy until dinner.

That combination has me dropping weight and not hungry at all in the evenings.

i also have a problem with food at night. I can go so good during the day. I not starving myself during the day but there's something about nighttime makes my hungry. I think its because I am bored and just sit on the couch and watch tv.if i can do something to keep from thinking about food i think that would help. what do any of you do? thanks

So good! I usually always budget some cals for an evening post-dinner snack because I know I always get a little hungry later in the evening

I have had such a hard time breaking my carb binging cycle. Night time seems to be the worst most weeks. I'll do great most of the day & ruin it at the end.

I had tried to not eat at all at night so I could stay at the lower end of my daily cals.Usually this always led to cravings & binges. When I really notice some severe cravings or hunger pangs I recently try something like string cheese & 1/2 apple tsp. PB ie. Those small smarter snacks really help curb the appetite, especially if they have some protein. Then I have a small ceramic tea pot. I put one green tea bag in it with boiling water ,steep for 3 min. & enjoy. It REALLY has helped to take away those cravings. Why, not completely sure, but if it helps one more person that is struggling with this same issue I'm glad I posted.
