Our software determines an individual's Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) using the Harris-Benedict Equation—the most familiar and most used formula to determine calorie (energy) needs and use that to calculate estimated needs to meet the goals you have established as well as nutrition and exercise guidelines that we know work for many people. You can learn more in this article.

The meal plans are simply intended to be a guide to help you learn planning and portion control as well as giving your ideas. You can turn the meal plans off and simply enter your meals and snacks into the food tracker and make necessary adjustments to meet your recommended nutrient needs and achieve the same goals.

Hey everyone! I'm in the Fast Break stage and have a question about the website. Hopefully I'm posting this in the correct section.

Are the default meal plans and fitness plans scientifically designed to get me to the target weight that I have entered, or are they just there as a suggestion?

Thanks!
