CONGRATULATIONS on the non scale victory. I am off of the scale until March 31 when I go back to the doctor. I am using my clothes, blood sugar and blood pressure as my measures.

I keep my emoticon in the closet too! Once a week in enough to weigh yourself. emoticon

I understand because I do the same thing. I have hidden my scale before. It works.

You can do it. I had to put my scale in the closet and only take it out on Sunday (my weigh-in day). Much more fun to see the scale go down in pounds rather than up and down in ounces all week.

I have become obsessed with the scale since starting this journey. So much so, that I would weigh my self multiple times a day. So this week I have set a goal to not step on the scale until weigh-in day rolls around on Monday. I made it the whole day yesterday without touching the scale! Woohoo! I will admit, I came pretty close to pulling it out late last night, and even this morning, but I didn't! This is a BIG deal for me! I look forward to being completely surprised with the number it gives me Monday. Now to just keep myself off of it over the next five days!
