I would soooo love to lose 20 pounds by Spring! I am doing a challenge with my friend from work to lose 10 pounds by the end of Feb. We are going to reward ourselves with pedicures. I could lose another 10 by maybe April 1. Although I have a lot more to lose than that, 20 pounds gone would feel so great! Good luck to you all!

Well I've done well so far this week. I'm satisfied with the results i'm seeing. i have a goal to be down 2 more pounds by Monday (that's my biggest loser at work weigh in). I see it. And that's why I've come up with a challenge for myself and I decided to share it with you all.

You know how healthy eating and exercise seems to fall by the wayside during the weekends? Well I challenge everyone to stay in their calorie range two of the three days (Fri, Sat, or Sun) and do atleast 15 minutes of exercise two of the three days. Let's defeat the weekend for once instead of it defeating us. Anyone want to join me on this challenge?!?!?!!???!!!

a very busy week. new hospice company so we get new people. they seem to be nice but the last one too only they did not have an aide for us.

i planned my food menu now to do a exercise plan. that is my hardest due to feeling guilty at leaving mom alone with dad.

friday take mom to doctor. next week it should be less stressful.

Booked our trip to Mexico last night, so need to break through this plateau to be 15 pounds lighter by 4-12! BTW, my husband obliterated our microwave when he had the bright idea of hard boiling it in the microwave.He poked a hole in it. It literally shattered the bottom of the microwave and the door flew open and shut again. I'm glad it was him and not me---so do NOT microwave an egg!!!

Good Morning everyone. Well I stayed on track all weekend. Went a bit over calories on Mon. but bot too much. I had no idea rice cakes could add up so much when mindlessly eating them. I'm going to try less carbs today because most of my calories have been coming from them lately. Good Luck to all of you!! emoticon

egg was cold from fridge no shell. we got in bag.

i usually cut mine in half do for a few seconds and feel if hot then some more then feel till it reaches the temp i want but did tell son so anyways was surprized it didnt pop in microwave.

off to doctors mom has to go twice this week and twice next week. yep we are getting the cold snap too. but guess what can i except after all it is January. I know scale will be up today but need to get some exercise in and watch those calories .
no more birthdays till february. but son is having grandson at chucky cheese. hope they have salads or i am bringing a bag lunch.

I just read the exploding egg statement! That is funny, I had no idea they would blow up though. I will file this away for later use!

Was the egg in the shell still? And was it warmed in the microwave?

I want to be in this challenge!

I want to lose 35 pounds. I am going to Vegas the end of March and would love to look thinner in the photos. Also, I am having surgery April 3rd and would like to proudly proclaim my weight to the doctor rather than feel dread when I have to weigh in.

today we are celebrating sister birthday so need to watch what i eat.
grandson over he is sick. he should of been brought to doctor. but I am just a grandma.

son tried warming up boiled egg and when he poked it at table it exploed all over him the table and everywhere else. just i woulld of had a camera would been a great photo.

Scale stayed the same. for i had a stressful day snacking and eating things not on plan. Anyways I am going to start over. A new beginning. but thats okay. I may even do my menus over. I do need to get started with exercing. I have 25 pounds or there abouts to get off. I will get it off for I plan on being a kop this year.so far this year lost 7.4 lbs last year I lost 14 lbs but the course over last few years lost and have about 42 lbs lost. I wont be queen but I will be healthy and happy.

Good Morning

doing ok didnt eat supper as picked sister up and then too late as working on not eating after 7 so scale should go down today. I will be taking mom to doctor today maybe i can sneak in to exercise at curves as didnt yesterday as planed as plane came earlier than i thought
anyways off to a new day tomorrow is my official weight in cant weight as my scale is down.

GOING TO CITIES TODAY SCALE IS DOWN SOME TOMORROW I START MY 17-DAY DIET AGAIN. THE PAST FEW DAYS JUST BEEN JOURNALING AND WATCHING PORTIONS.

I would love to lose 15 pounds by March 20th. We are planning on a trip to Mexico in April to celebrate 40th birthday. What better way to turn 40 and be healthier than when you were 30! I already lost 4 pounds from last weekend when I started. A couple pounds was probably from water retention from the horrible eating from the holidays, so the weight loss will definately slow down next week. Hope this motivation on healthy living stays!

MY SMART GOAL I MADE AT MEETING TODAY

I AM GOING TO BE HEALTHY AND FIT AT 170-175 LBS TO REACH THAT I WILL EXERCISE 3-4 TIMES A WEEK BY EITHER CURVES, WALKING, BOWLING, SWIMMING, OR A DVD OR WII. AND JOURNALING, AND PORTION CONTROL. A LIFESTYLE CHANGE SO I CAN MAINTAIN AT MY GOAL WT.
NO EXERCISE BUT GROCERY SHOPPING I DO GO DOWN ALL ALILES TO GET MORE STEPS IN I DID JOURNAL TODAY AND NO EATING AFTER 7 ATE MY FRUIT AND VEGIES TODAY ALSO DID COUNT EXCHANGES.

I'm in ... I have 40 pounds to lose, and I'd love to have it off by spring. I'm walking with Leslie most days, at least until it is nice enough to get outside, and then I'll combine outdoor walking and Leslie DVDs. I tend to work harder with the DVD and I go farther, but I know walking hills outside is excellent too. I'm tracking my food and tracking the exercise. I weigh and measure my food, too.

my current weight is 120.8 and I would like to lose 15 lbs by March 27. I plan to reduce calories, weight train (2-4 times a week), and walk/jog about 20 miles a week. I just joined a gym and my trainer suggested that for my height, age (41), and starting fitness level 1 - 1.5 lbs a week would be reasonable.

good luck everyone! it is very cold and windy where I am but I am going to take an evening walk after dinner. I went earlier and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be outside.

how is everyone. I doing so so one more shopping spree then done till after Christmas still working on cards too and need to wrap presents. also working on maintaining thru holidays.
then day after will work on losing. but a weigh in day after Christmas so have to really watch it.

Winter may just now beginning, but spring is knocking at the door! Let's do a challenge to get a big chunk of weight off before it gets here! If we start now then we won't be discourage or panicky when it does show up and bathing suits are on the rack! We will be confident and ready for shorts and tank tops!

Give your goal to reach by March 20th and give a reason why you want this.

Here is mine-
I want to lose at least 35lbs. My daughter's first birthday is March 24th and I want to be thinner and more confident at her party so that I'm not embarrassed to be in pictures! I want to be in those memories from that day too and when she gets older to look back on them!
