emoticon I will be turning 60 next month and must say I feel great! I've been on SparkPeople for well over a year and still find fascinating articles, tips, recipes, that keep me going.

Hiking and walking keeps me going. I turned 60 in January and no looking back. I must say I am better about cleaning my face and using moisturizer than I did in my 40's. I am sure it helps. Being on the right road to better health also helps.

Yep, that's what they say, but I'm kinds skeptic. So, what can you do now that you didn't think you could do at 60? In order to feel younger, there must be something that makes you feel that way. I'm looking forward to feeling something a lot better than I do now -lol. emoticon Please tell me it's gonna happen! emoticon

Actually we started our own thread and just made it private (you are given a choice) which means that it is not seen by everyone on the net. We could easily start one for just the 60's......I would have to look into this as it has been a long time.

Hmmmm. Wonder if SP would start a 60+ (or barely 60) group.

For me I am working on 60+ being the new 45. I want to go in the opposite direction.

Not sure if there is a 60 plus group or thread. I belong to a few groups. What groups have you joined?

Thanks Scorpio!

Is there a thread just for 60+? It would be nice to be able to chat on a daily basis. Or do you ladies belong to other threads on this site?

I don't mind getting older but it is the slowness in losing weight that is really putting the damper on things. Amazing how it has slowed right down! emoticon
