I just committed to my first 5k. I have "slogged"(slow jog) a full 3 miles once or twice in my life but never stuck to it. I exercise in a core exercise boot camp type of class 2x a week and do an hour of boxing 1x a week. Going to try the couch to 5k and hope i am able to start at week 3 or 4. This is a "bucket list" item to do before i turn 45 (I am late by a few months so I have to push it to before I turn 46...) Anyone that has done it - I am interested in your advice. Anyone who wants to do it - challenge me and do one too.
