I have tried before to lose weight, but I would lose 20lbs and then I would stop watching my diet and before long I would gain It back.A year ago in July I started not feeling all that great I always seemed to have a cold and was getting short of breath. I chalked it up to the fact that I was over weight. Then in January of this year my wife and I started doing weight watchers and as I lost weight I started feeling better.I lost weight but in May I started to really get short of breath. On June 4th I went to work but could not work because I couldn't breath. The next day I went to doctor and I found out my blood pressure was sky high, my weight was 288, my legs were swelling and an x-ray showed I had an enlarged heart. I was given Blood pressure meds and a diuretic. long story short I realized I had to change my lifestyle to lose weight. So I did. I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve 7 weeks ago. and have continued to lose weight through healthy eating and exercise. I feel great and thank everybody for their support.

That really is impressive for a such a relatively short span of time! (Don't mind me if I look a little envious shade of green over here! emoticon ) You should really be proud!
