Yes - you can change it. Listen to me.. telling you 'yes you can'. I can't even tell myself to get going. Now that I told you that you can do it ... it makes me wanna do it. So, let's do it together. can you go for a walk 30 minutes a day? Let's start there.
How inspiring and I couldn't agree with you more. I have only been with SparkPeople since the end of August, but enjoy and look forward to logging in daily. I have also noticed many changes in my body and how I feel. So if this can happen in such a short period of time, I look forward to more days enriching my life!
I did my best today, tomorrow I will do even better.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!Keep up the great work and I know you will reach your goals!!!

Keep up the good work!! You've inspired me to go beyond the monthly team fitness challenges and set a goal for myself for the end of the year! Just like that train going up the hill... just a little bit at a time and keep at a steady pace.
thanks for sharing. I also had doubts when my daughter led me to SparkPeople. I tried so many diet plans and always failed. I've been with Spark for 2 1/2 months, lost 8 lbs so far and I feel so much better. The best thing is that I am mot losing steam or motivation with Spark.

When I joined about 3 months ago I set a goal of 1400 fitness minutes. I am already at 1800+. You can get to your goal of 10,000. I have to figure out how to do it in the winter as we live far from any indoor places to walk which is my favorite thing.
Hi There, well as a nubie I have already found inspiration and motivation. I am so very glad to read that there are others out there that experience the same problems that I do and I look forward to taking this journey knowing that I am not alone and that there are loads of people just waiting to help if and when the need arises.

You can, You can and you WILL! I couldn't agree with your sentiments more. The more I use SP, the more wonderful people I meet and the more I am enouraged and motivated to stay on this journey of health. I tell everyone I can about SP - always amazed me that so many are NOT willing to try it. Blessings on your journey.

Yes you can. I agree this website and the people here are very addictive, I LOVE trivia, because I am an know-it-all kind of person. I love knowledge and learning new things. I have made a lot of friends and gotten more info than my brain can hold. But it is truly my pleasure to meet a "smarty pants". Good luck as you continue your journey.

Yes it is amazing. I to have had eye opening experiences since joining in May and have meet many wonderful people.
Whoa-how did this happen? I started hanging around SparkPeople in March, just to check it out. Being the smartypants that I am, I had no idea how much I could learn here. I've tracked my fitness, on and off have tracked my nutrition (now that's an eye-opener), read inspirational stories from fellow Sparkers, joined a couple of teams (Me? Not usually much of a joiner), and learned one heck of a lot about exercise, fitness, motivation, nutrition, good recipes, and living a healthy life. I'm stronger, slimmer, more agile, and happier.
I couldn't have done any of this without all the participants shouting out encouragement, answering questions, asking questions, and being with me all year. So thanks, everyone, for helping me along. And thanks, SparkTeam, for putting together just about the best web site on the planet. My life is an adventure (see the logo above), and it's a better one than it has been in some time. Now to hit 10,000 fitness minutes by the end of the year. I think I can, I think I can....
