I'm reading "The Diabetic Diet" by Richard Bernstein MD (he has had type 1 since he was 12 and is 78 now) and I've learned so much about Insulin Resistance and weight loss. I recommend his lectures on YouTube.

Just keep going and don't quit.

That is the amazing thing about this! I changed my food choices and now I see that I eat the same for less than half the calories I used to get. Sometimes I struggle to get the 1200 calories per day and I feel emoticon
