I know this post is a little bit late, since February snuck up on us this year so quickly, however - since January I have been anti-fast food. Before my weightloss adventure began my typical day went something like this: 7:30am @ Starbucks, 12:15 Mickey D's Happy Meal, Dinner: To-Go Order from Chili's or Applebee's - and I wonder how I ballooned up to 241lbs!!!
Beginning in 2012 my goal was to become anti-fast food stops. I modified my breakfast and began bringing my lunch in, at least 3-4 days a week - there are times when I have to go out but healthy options are researched prior to dining out. I've opted for home cooked meals, in lieu of to-go orders and I've even begun a fitness regimen.
I don't know if anyone else here is banning fast food in 2012 but if you are please feel free to comment back. In January I made this affirmation to myself, "I will not pollute my body with toxic food, I am worth more than french fries, mayonnaise, and cheeseburgers." I truly believe that we control our own destiny - this is mine. To be healthy, happy, and strong.
UPDATE: By cutting out caffeine, most sugars, and fast food from my diet, along with a strong work out, I have continuously been losing 2lbs. a week!
