Your Start page will show you how many calories you've burned so far for the week and how many you have left to meet your goal.

If you tell sparkpeople how much you want to lose and by when then it will calculate how much you should eat each day to reach your goal based on your resting metabolic rate(based on weight).

Also if you type in that you plan to burn so many extra calories per week through exercise it will calculate that in to how much your supposed to eat each day. So if you burn 500 calories a week the it adds a few extra calories to each day.

It would be nice to have a weekly caloric goal tracker in addition to the daily but i don't know if its on here.

Try the Reports section under the My Trackers tab.

There are a couple of reports there - daily calorie differential, and calorie differential over time.

Ok, please explain.

I need to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound in a week. That is done with lowering calorie intake and exercize. What I would like to know is how to see how many I have burned for the week. Is there something on here that shows how far we have to go to meet our weekly goal?
