We had a great group trying to lose 30 pounds in 4 months from January thru April. Let's do it again! Start date was May 1st 2014 but you can jump in at any time, and end date is August 31, 2014. Anybody who wants to can join in this challenge; let's motivate each other. We can achieve this goal.

I just had to test my plan and I ate a hot dog with a bun yesterday. Up pound today. Back to no bread today, like a good little dieter. : )

I am doing better last couple days were not good. but back to journaling. i did get chair exercise in yesterday. today is a busy day but will be shopping so will get some steps in. hoping to get home in time for exercising.

I have been trying to diet for the last few months and couldn't do more than a pound up and down, over and over. Now that I have stopped wheat, sugar and most dairy, the weight is dropping off. Only problem is it is hard to get calories up without the bread products and sweets. I eat small portions of meat and the fruit and veggies don't add up to many calories. I'll keep tweaking the plan.

Hi- I had a slow start to the week I over did it the first few days and my body let me know it. Now I will try a more moderate pace. I just get so excited with this program it keeps getting better. My Sparktracker came in today after I did my 5k walk and now I want to walk again! I will try one of the stretching videos instead but I am so ready for tomorrow to get here. I wish you all the very best and can't wait to meet you at the finish line.

I started my challenge yesterday by giving up wheat and dairy. I know from past diets that they cause me to gain weight or allow me to lose weight if I drop them. So sandwiches turned into protein and veggies instead. Breakfast bread turned into broth and fruit. We'll see how it goes. : )

It's my first Monday weigh in at177.2. I am so excited with the results this week! I will be working on changing up my exercise routine. I found I was working one muscle group to often which caused me to stop for two days. I plan on switching up on alternate days to see if that works

Michele.r - Congrats Me Lady on the great loss. The best I could do is 2, but hopefully one more by Thursday. This particular challenge is going to be difficult for me. I usually lose wt very slowly, so get a little discouraged. I am going to try to keep my MOJO up and hang tuff and try hard. I will be more than happy with a 15 pound loss, which is a pound a week.

MY MOJO

NO MORE negative body thoughts.
NO MORE "I'll do it TOMORROW".
NO MORE sitting and wishing a thinner me.
NO MORE eating when not hungry.
NO MORE waiting for this to get easier.
NO MORE "I can't".
NO MORE it is to hard.

NO MORE EXCUSES!

My goals

SHORT TERM GOAL #1 (BY JULY 14 MY BIRTHDAY)
I will be at 189 or lower by getting exercise at least 10 minutes 5 times a week and by journaling all foods eaten and drinking 64 oz water. I will make menu plan and will add more veggies and fruit into the plan.

MEDIUM TERM GOAL #2 (BY SEPT 15TH) I will be at 175. I will love or tolerate to walk. I will track my exchanges. I will be drinking my water and enjoy eating fruits and veggies and sugar is out of my diet except for an occasional treat.

LONG TERM GOAL #3 (BY DECEMBER 30TH) I will have learn how to maintain my goal weight. I will be an KOPS at TOPS. I will know the exchange so I am able to teach it to others.

SHORT SHORT TERM GOAL #4 (BY JUNE 1) I want to be 5+ pounds down. I want to work the flex diet. Journaling will become easier . Learn new recipes. Put garden in.

Completed my 5k training and stretches afterward. Feeling exhausted and completely happy with myself. My husband ordered the Spark tracker for me for Mother's Day I am looking forward to seeing how it works for me.

Hey everyone, day 1 was ok, no exercise in (I work 12-hour shifts on Thursdays/Fridays every week, and that is standing all day with no real break/lunch break of about 15 minutes). I can't wait until Saturday to exercise :D

I have to choose which workout I'll do first, I think I'll go with Turbo Jam, it's been a loooong time!

Yesterday I didnt exercise but walked in store not as many steps as i hoped for. anyway today a new day. i did journal my food though.
i am planning to get some exercise in today before my grandson comes to spend the night. we will go to mom so she can see him too. reading my tops book chapter 3 today also. I didnt weigh today but my official day is wednesday anyways.
