I burn 130-140 calories on level 1.
I want to believe that the dead are not lost to us. That they speak to us as part of something greater than us - greater than any alien force. And if you and I are powerless now, I want to believe that if we listen to what's speaking, it can give us the power to save ourselves. -- Fox Mulder
i just got a heart rate monitor after getting a knee injury but i did the level 1 of the shred anyway and burned 217 calories WITH a knee injury that limited me from really doing the cardio....i haven't healed enough to do it fully yet..i am 5'8 and 148 pounds...it is probably different for everyone though!

I only burn about 200 when I do it and I'm sweating and laying on the floor like I'm going to die when I'm done. I was disapointed in that and am doing her boost metabolism one.

I count it as 'circuit training' on My Fitness. It's a mix of cardio and strength, and I believe several people have called it circuit training when tracking it.
I don't have the vid, but I think it's largely strength based isn't it? If it is very much so, then it's probably incalculable, the same reason Spark doesn't track calories from strength.
If it's a bit of a mix of both, then look up 20m of "circuit training" on the cardio tracker and see what the burn from that is for you. That would approximate your burn from this workout.

I just ordered this DVD. I walk on my treadmill each morning for an hour and burn 300 calories. I am able to keep my calories at around 1800/day (as long as I walk), and still lose weight. I would like to do this DVD a few times a week as well. I know it's only a 20 minute workout, but does anyone here have any idea how many calories (approximate) can be burned?
