I like 30 Day Shred on days when I need my workout to be quick.

If I have more time I will add 10 - 20 minutes on the elliptical - usually between the second & thrid circuit.

Agree with Jen. There are better instructors with more education and correct form than Jillian..

When I did the shred I did it about 3 times per week and added in walking. Hope that helps

I've got the 30 Day Shred as well and love it, but I'm also used to more than 20 minutes. You can add on whatever exercise you want after. I personally prefer to do my treadmill on a separate day since I run and that alone is a hard workout for me. You can also do more than one segment, or combine it with another exercise DVD - I have the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown (30 minute segments) and my muscles were fried after doing just the first segment from each DVD. I also have done extra strength training after the 30 Day Shred since I'm already working my muscles that day - I've done extra pushups, crunches, squats, etc. or you can use heavier dumbbells and add a more traditional strength workout (x sets of x reps)

I don't do the 30 Day Shred everyday like it says to, so maybe if you did it everyday 20 minutes would be enough.

Hi Bev

Personally, I like the idea of variety. I've done the workout you've mentioned, but I only do it a few days a week and then mix in some other kinds of workouts on the other days.

That way you get some longer workouts, shorter ones, and keep your body challenged.

Just my 2-cents :)

Hello. I started the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred this week, and so far so good. The workouts are 20 minutes, and for some reason I dont feel like it is enough. Before I had my son, I was doing Zumba 3-4 times a week for an hour and maybe the stair stepper for a good 15 minutes. This little workout isnt enough, so i'm wondering what else should I do. I can't afford a gym membership, but I do have a treadmill in my garage and the wii fit(have to find the cd).
Thanks for any input :)

Loving my little man,but not the body pregnancy left me with. Time to change!
