I've got the 30 Day Shred as well and love it, but I'm also used to more than 20 minutes. You can add on whatever exercise you want after. I personally prefer to do my treadmill on a separate day since I run and that alone is a hard workout for me. You can also do more than one segment, or combine it with another exercise DVD - I have the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown (30 minute segments) and my muscles were fried after doing just the first segment from each DVD. I also have done extra strength training after the 30 Day Shred since I'm already working my muscles that day - I've done extra pushups, crunches, squats, etc. or you can use heavier dumbbells and add a more traditional strength workout (x sets of x reps)
I don't do the 30 Day Shred everyday like it says to, so maybe if you did it everyday 20 minutes would be enough.
Personally, I like the idea of variety. I've done the workout you've mentioned, but I only do it a few days a week and then mix in some other kinds of workouts on the other days.
That way you get some longer workouts, shorter ones, and keep your body challenged.
Just my 2-cents :)

Hello. I started the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred this week, and so far so good. The workouts are 20 minutes, and for some reason I dont feel like it is enough. Before I had my son, I was doing Zumba 3-4 times a week for an hour and maybe the stair stepper for a good 15 minutes. This little workout isnt enough, so i'm wondering what else should I do. I can't afford a gym membership, but I do have a treadmill in my garage and the wii fit(have to find the cd). Thanks for any input :)
