Great job everyone for completing those miles. I just completed my 20 miles for the week! what a great feeling to accomplish this goal along with some other goals! I look forward to next week and seeing you all succeed!

I am totally down. I run at least 15 miles during the week and do a lung run on the weekends, and usually intersperse five mile walks occasionally. :)

Oh, I'm IN!! This is just the motivation I need to really step it up a notch. I've been running every other day, but I need to start *walking* on my "off" days, too, and put in more miles!

Hello challengers! I have created a team for those of you that want to take on this challenge. The team name is 20 Mile Team Challenge. You can post your miles either on the team or here if you don't want to be a member of the team. Here is the break down of miles based on how many days you walk or run.

7 days = 2.8 miles
6 days = 3.33 miles
5 days = 4 miles
4 days = 5 miles
3 days = 6.6 miles
2 days = 10 miles
1 day = 20 miles (of course)

Like I said before you can report miles daily or weekly, what ever works for you. Thanks for the questions and I look forward to starting this challenge tomorrow.

Here is the challenge, you can choose to walk or run, but the goal is to get 20 miles in either way. Start on Monday 3-30-09 and This challenge will end April 30th. You can log in each day and record you miles or record them at the end of the week. I look forward to seeing how many will challenge themselves to 20 miles a week. I know this challenge will push me and help me even more with my training for the marathon in June. Good luck everyone and I look forward to meeting new people with this challenge!
