I agree that going from no running at all to running a full 5k is a lofty, probably unrealistic, goal for just two weeks. Definitely check out the Couch to 5k training plan and see how you do in the first week. Be careful not to push too hard, because even though you're already healthy and fit, your muscles and joints aren't conditioned for the high impact of running. Running too far too soon could lead to injury. I think doing a mix of running and walking would definitely be your best bet.

Do you run at all right now? I would start with week 1 of couch to 5k and see how realistic your running fitness level is. If you don't run, you're not going to be able to run 3.1 miles nonstop in 2 weeks. "just" wanting to run the whole thing is...significant.

Start practicing jogging in intervals via c25k, and plan on walking a good portion of the race.

Hi everybody!
I want to run a 5K - it is already in two weeks and I didn't have much training yet.
Is there a two week training plan? I know that this is a short time but I want to try it.
I am 27 with 64kg at 168cm, healthy and fit - just not trained in running.
And I "just" want to be able to run the entire distance, no matter how much time it will take.
Do you have any tips for that? Or should I better choose a mix of walking and running (which would be also ok, it is just for fun)?
