I like this one:

''Do you receive gifts of candy and cookies that you know will be too tempting to avoid? Consider dropping them by a homeless shelter. Although the homeless may struggle with health issues, the treats can help brighten their day.''

Of course, it's likely you'd not be able to give the homemade ones, but it would have to be packaged ones - not sure about the rules, though

I love the SparkPeople Blog: 18 ways to stay on track during the Holidays

My favorite and "New" tip was to mentally envision yourself saying NO thank you and/or passing up foods that are high calorie/high fat.

I am going to do that.

also, we still have our Spark Team offering strategies and support to lose weight over the Holidays: (read it here)

Please feel free to join and post ideas that have or are working for you, and any challenges.

Best wishes!
