I like this one:

''Do you receive gifts of candy and cookies that you know will be too tempting to avoid? Consider dropping them by a homeless shelter. Although the homeless may struggle with health issues, the treats can help brighten their day.''

Of course, it's likely you'd not be able to give the homemade ones, but it would have to be packaged ones - not sure about the rules, though

My favorite and "New" tip was to mentally envision yourself saying NO thank you and/or passing up foods that are high calorie/high fat.

I am going to do that.
