I have been losing weight rather consistently - a pound or so a week - for the last couple of months. Over the last few weeks I put a few of those pounds back on.
I went camping this weekend and ate like a camper - hot dogs, smores, hamburgers, snack cakes, chips...all terrible. I did get in a lot of exercise.
Apparently not enough...
3 events sparked this challenge for me.
1. I saw a picture of my butt on facebook. Oh man, it's out of control.
2. This morning I stepped on the scales and my weight went up instead of down - up to the tune of 5 pounds.
3. I'm planning a b-day treat vacation in the fall and want my vacation pictures to be better than the camping pictures that are slowly surfacing on facebook.
So I'm setting a goal for myself to lose 2 pounds a week for the next 14 weeks. In addition to healthier eating and exercise - I'm targeting my back side.
I found a link on SparkPeople that targets the butt. I am committing to do this set of exercises 5 minutes a day each day as outlined in the linked article. www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitness_artic
So that's it. 28 Pounds in 14 Weeks.
