I lost my 2lbs for this week, plus an extra 2.8lbs to make up for last week, for a total of 4.8lbs. I'm in the 140s, 148.6 to be exact.:) I've lost 8.2lbs since starting this challenge.

emoticon I made it pass my goal to lose 40 pounds and lost a total of 49 pounds since I joined SparkPeople in October 2008.

I am coming up on my first year anniversary; so my goal is to drop 12 pounds...the two that I gained back plus 10! That will put my new weight at 183 pounds...not bad!!!

Good Morning VIVACIOUS DIVA’S!!!!

Well it’s Hump-day & this week has gone by pretty fast!!! So I did go exercise yesterday & did exactly what I said “NO EXCUSES” and I was only able to squeeze in 40 minutes but it was better than not going at all. So whatever you can GIVE, then give it!! You can not look bad at what could’ve been last week or over the weekend but what can today be?

What ROAD are you going to go down today? This weight loss is just a Journey & YOU must decide where you are going to TRAVEL. Are you going to continue to Travel down Sweets Street, Bread Avenue and Carbs Blvd. Or take the road to Veggie Lane, Fruit Court or Lean Protein Road???

I did not have a good weigh in this week as I gained the 2#'s that I lost last week. Do you want to hear my excuses, didn't think so. ha. Now I have to work twice as hard to get them off again. But I will keep working at it. This is still the lowest I have been in a long time, so at least I can be happy about that.

Thank Goodness It's Friday SEXY, VIBRANT DIVA'S!!!!!


So yesterday was a just go day, meaning that I was just going with the day but not really accomplishing anything. So I was like seriously "Cassandra you have got to get with the program." Then I thought, If my body could talk to me ~ "What Would My Body Say to Me?"


My body would probably say "Why haven't you worked me out this week? Why aren't you being good to me, so I can be good to you or I want to get in some cardio & I don't want to be a lazy body, I want to be Active & Healthy on the inside." Or it would say "Come on Cassandra stop making Excuses about why you ARE NOT taking me to the gym or doing aerobics DVD; I need you to make me function properly and only YOU can MAKE IT HAPPEN!!" Lastly my body would say "Don't be so HARD on YOURSELF but know when to get that WHIP back Cracking!!" So today & NOW on I will listen to my body b/c I know what my body is saying & need to listen! So it's really nothing left to say but 'JUST DO IT!"

Today is a great day I weighed in and It looks like I made up the 1 pound that I did not lose during that time of the month because I am down -3.8 So I am right on track towards my goal of getting down to 187 in 12 weeks and so I am going to keep working at it to lose 2 pounds a week. HAPPY HUMP-DAY GORGEOUS DIVA’S!!!!!

Well we are mid-way thru another week & this is the last Wednesday in this month!! So make the most of the last few days we have in August! I want to go into September keeping my momentum going & staying positive!! I realized yesterday that I really don’t want to be in my 40s or 50s trying to still lose weight or even worst on medications b/c I couldn’t get my health under control when I had the opportunity.



Yesterday, I was talking with a co-worker who is in her 50s and she said “I wish you would’ve lost weight when she was younger & when I had the energy but now I have the clock working against me.” She said her joints aren’t strong as they should be and it’s hard for her to workout. She was like so she is on medications to help with her pain & she was like that most of the problems she has is from her weight. This made me think that if I get my weight & health in order now then when I am in my 50s I will still be in good health & able to workout with no problems!

So I know we have all heard people say or said ourselves "I take 2 steps forward only to go 1 step back." Or you have heard something similar to that. So I know I told myself last night “I take 1 step forward & seem to go 3 steps back.” I was like you know what ~ No matter how many steps I have to take to reach my goal on this journey, I am going to take them & that’s exactly what I am going to do every single day! It may take me 1 million steps but I am going to take EVERY SINGLE STEP TO REACH MY GOAL!!! I am going to have this weight loss under control & in check before I am 30 years old!! Had a great weigh in this morning. Lost 2 #'s, I am happy with that as I haven't been at this weight for a very long time. Now all I have to do is try to maintain it. That may be hard, as it has been a struggle to lose these 2#'s. All I can do is try and see how it goes.

I'm in start 8/24. hopefully this will give me enough reason to stick with it, hard to do on your own my start weight is 157, plan on making more trips to the gym and eliminate the careless snacking

Well it is not quite 2 pounds but I do not care because I did my best and I guess that is all I can do.I know that I will have a 2 pound weightloss by the time next weeks weigh in comes around!
