I started a new challenge for the rest of the month of October to have at least 1000+ calories deficit each and every day. For myself I require a minimum of about 2950 cal per day, and that is if I am sedentary and want to maintain my goal weight. I suppose I'm fortunate that I am so tall. I'm sure the closer I get to my goal weight of 250 I will find it harder to do this, particularly since I will be exercising more.
As it is I try to get about 1300-1500 calories in each day, and never get to 2000! This way I am usually about -1550cal/day. Then I am incorporating more exercise via walking and the home elliptical for about 500 cal/d burn. I figure if I keep at least 1500 quality calories coming in, along with a multivitamin, I should be okay diet wise.
So we shall see what the rest of October brings.
What are you all doing?
