I joined Spark People early this year. I completed the 8 week diabetes weight loss challenge and only lost 1 pound. I've learned that the small victories are important and lead to bigger ones. When I started the program I had little or no motivation. I didn't sleep well and I hated to exercise. I can't tell you when the changes occurred I just know they did. Now I sleep well and longer, I have more energy and exercise is a habit, although not one of my favorite things. I recommitted to the same challenge, but didn't way myself until the end. I lost 8 pounds.
