I took my dog for a walk (which he was super excited about) and we traveled the road in front of our house for 10 minutes. Hopefully we'll be up to 20 minutes a day soon!

I am a new mom and I started out doing 10 minutes everyday, now I am up to 20! even if it gets broken up by feeding times and play times :)

I worked on my treadmill yesterday and the day before, but today while I was dustmopping the floor I stubbed my little toe on a piece of furniture....okay...I was cleaning while stocking foot...anyway...OUCH! I think I broke my little toe! It is swollen and very very tender.
So....needless to say...the only exercise I got today was when I took the dog for a short walk...about 10 minutes...it was in the 20's today....and once he stopped to go to the bathroom....we cleaned up and came home! I will attempt some chair exercises later...those videos here are great!

I'm starting small; having not exercised on purpose in a LONG time. 10 minutes is very doable. And fun!

10 minutes does make a difference! Look at how many calories you can burn in 10 minutes doing one of the SparksPeople videos. Check out Coach Nicole. She's the best. Joint the Official January Jumpstart Fitness Challenge www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/challenge_deta

I too have been doing nothing for far to long. Starting with 10 mintues a day is doable. At least that is my chant!!

Tomorrow I plan on finally doing something active. I've been still far too long. Will need encouragement to get it done.
