You logged what you ate. I think that is a good thing, instead of denial. Sometimes, if I try to resist, I wind up eating way more. When the kids are having pizza, if I want some, I have a salad, some fruit and 1/2 a piece. If I am still hungry, I have more salad, more fruit and the other 1/2. For me, cutting it in 1/2 makes me think I am getting a "second" piece.

One thing I tell new members is that they have to be patient with themselves and their bodies. Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a life time. That's not going to happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Change takes time. That's why I tell people to think about that old song and "accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Give yourself credit for the POSITIVE things you do during the day and don't beat yourself up because you're not perfect. If you try to be perfect, you're going to end up miserable.
You made some very positive choices today. Give yourself credit for drinking your 8 glasses of water and eating those extra servings of fresh fruit and veggies. That's a positive change. Okay, you ate a few too many yogurt pretzels. It happened. You ate the food. You log the food. You move on. that was yesterday.
Today, you do your best to be more mindful of what you eat and your portion sizes. If you're feeling hungry, grab a piece of fruit or have some other healthier snack. It is okay to snack. Spark People does encourage its members to snack on healthy treats during the day. You can't will yourself to not eat. In order to lose weight, a person has to eat.
Do your best to try to stay away from the treats. Allow yourself a small portion of whatever it is you'd like to have, but then remind yourself that you ate enough when you want more. You can change your dietary habits, but it does take time. That's why you need to give yourself credit for the positive steps you take. Don't beat yourself up because you aren't perfect. Once again, you don't have to be perfect to be healthy. BUT, you do have to learn to be more mindful and that does take time.
You're making progress even though you don't think so.

Yes, you need your family's support. I, personally, wouldn't have found your lunch very encouraging, either. If you work, a more substantial midday meal can save you the desire for those (really useless) yogurt pretzels. Also, did you make up the packet of nuts? If not, it's probably a lot larger than you want (I was shocked when I started reading labels and discovering how big things were that looked so small and innocent).
In any case...it's ONE day; no one wins or loses based on one day...that's why it is a life style.
Good success to you!

It sounds like you need to work on getting your family to support your weight loss/healthy living goals. I know that is harder than it sounds. But maybe you can get them on board for a dinner of tuna with spinach wrap before they order out.
So I woke up and had my 6:30 breakfast. Had a Good start drink and some flaxseed cereal. my 9:30 snack, a pack of natural no salted almonds. For Lunch 12:30 some homemade salsa, strawberries, grapes, a serving of tortilla chips, and turkey and ham thin slices. By 3pm I drank 8 cups of water. I get home around 4pm and grab 7 yogurt pretzels.....go to the counter and grab 7 more....before I know it...I'm up there again grabbing 7 more!! I stop. I feel sick. I go outside and run around with my nephews. My family orders Pizza Hut. I tell myself I won't...walk in...see the meat lovers and breadsticks and cinna sticks...I go for it. Now I'm here...and I was NOT wanting to type in what I had just ate, but I DID. And now I realize that although I may not have an upset stomach right now....the reality is that I can DOUBLE the amount of calories I'm suggested/recommended JUST LIKE THAT.
Here...I had a tuna with spinach wrap on my mind allll day for dinner.
