Did manage to work out & stick with my eatting plan today! Ofcourse, it is only 1:45! After work is the hard time, but I did good yesterday & I'm motivated so hopefully tonight will be successful

I seem to be stuck but I am still confident that I will reach this goal. I have only dropped 1 pound so far. Hope to drop 4 more by month end.

I forgot to post yesterday...busy with taxes - I'm a huge procrastinator!

I'm almost embarassed to say that I gained a couple pounds last week. I just got back to exercise yesterday. I was on the treadmill and got a sharp pain in the ankle after about 15 minutes, but pushed past it and managed another 10 min. My ankle is feeling good again this morning, so it's confusing me. I also started lifting weights yesterday. Hopefully next week I will go back down in weight!

okay, it's monday, and ofcourse, ready to get going again. I've done well, did my workout this morning & planning on aerobics tonight after work - even if it is just walking my dog! I bought some strawberries last night, so I had a smothie for breakfast & already have dinner planned out! So I'm off to a decent start!

I'm at the same weight too. I did see a little drop over the weekend, but not going to record it unless it stays the same or less this Friday.

As for motivation, I found a nice bikini that I would love to fit into. It is a realistic expectation (not wanting to fit into a size zero or anything like that). I also know that when I am looking better, I feel better. Those are my two motivators at this time (and the sunshine...sick of snow!). Find a bathing suit that you would like to see yourself in, or a sexy little something for your honey. Try to do something 30 minutes each day, even if it is split up, then you won't feel guilty if you didn't get in a "work out" that day...being active doesn't have to mean working out. Anything is better than nothing

UGH! I really need to get serious about this! I have been eatting like a pig! And I didn't even work out the past 2 days! I really want to do this, if not for me, for my poor fiance, it really affects the way I act, you know, sexually & my self esteem! Any ideas on how to get really motivated?

Sounds like everyone did fine last Friday. Time to weigh in again tomorrow. I don't expect to see a change due to the Easter weekend and the foot of snow we got in our area (makes it hard to run in that junk). I am forcing myself to kick it up a notch this upcoming week! How about you?!?

I seem to be gaining & loosing the same 5lb every week! I am getting better about working out every day, but my eatting stinks! But, back on track today!

I've had a bad couple of days, so I'm not going to get on the scale until next week. My daughter has the stomach flu. I have'nt been able to workout or really get off the couch. She's all better now. So I'm getting back on track today. Wish me luck.

I also didn't lose any last week, but didn't gain either, which surprised me because I couldn't exercise much. One ankle is better, the other is a little sore still, I'm going to rest again today, and see if I can do slow walking on the treadmill tomorrow - I have to start again somewhere...

I didn't lose any weight this past week. Stayed the same. At least I didn't gain any. I know that I grazed all day yesterday while making Easter dinner.

hey people even i wish to join in got my big day on the 21st n though i need to loose about 20 - 25 pounds if i manage to knock off 5 i ll be a very happy person m doing cardio 30 mins daily i run on the tread n i also cycle ... m not able to cutt off calories though as it is difficult for me to track food (m an indian ).......

Five pounds is realistic and do-able and I really need the intense motivation to quit the nite eating--one of my biggest hurdles.

Hi all, finally, got that Slim in 6 dvd out & worked out this morning! I will definately do some cardio after work. I really need to watch what I eat, though, I seem to alway want to eat!! I didn't do great on my eatting plan last night, but when I put the info in my eatting plan, I didn't have as many calories as I thought, which is good.

Hi Chelle,

The 1st goal I set on Dec 6, 206 was to loose 37 pounds by May 17th ... I am ahead of myself. I have dropped 1 pound for this month so far. I usually do an aerobic dp step up workout mon-frid and 200 crunches mon-fri. I usually average 1200 calories a day .. but during my pms week I average closer to 1500 .. I am really anticipating trying to loose an additional 10 more pounds from my original plan to weigh in at 140. I am 4 pounds from that goal and feel that it's possible i will continue. I am sick this week and haven't worked out any for the first time since I started in Dec. I hope to get in 1 hr tonight and tomorrow to make up for mon & tues. If not, I will have to exercise the next 10 days straight .. to catch up and get my crunches in. I am drinking 12 cups a water a minimum. I started drinking 1 liter on my way to work and then i drink 2 more liters while I am at work and usually drink another 16 oz with my dinner. I usually eat a snickers marathon bar every day or a go lean oatmeal bar .. that kills my sweet tooth .. I get plenty of protein with them and with the caramel nut rush snickers bar and the oatmeal bar I get 6-8 fiber. This month I am also trying to eat more fresh fruit .. I did good all last week .. but I am off due to being sick this week. Also, for breakfast I like the yoplait yogurt with pineapple and granola. I hope to maintain this week and it is my PMS week .. so hope all goes well. I look forward to dropping these 5 pounds for this month ...wish you well also ...

My binge time is whenever I'm home! Hot chocolate has worked for me, I like sugar free or diet, ofcourse. But, it helps that sweet tooth.

Welcome Tabetha. Sounds like you have your hands full with 4 kids. Sorry to hear about your injuries. Allowing time to heal is important. We are all here for you!

CLCCOOL - I'd love to look like Jessica Simpson too! She put a lot of work into those legs for that movie...I'm not sure I could handle that many squats a day, but would definately like to reap the rewards! All in the motivation. Congrats on your anniversary on 06/05.

Sarah - the 3:00 binge...mine is at 2:00 when I am sitting at my desk at work. When I am doing my rotation at the hospital, I don't have that problem. I chalk mine up to boredom. What are you doing at 3:00? Maybe you could plan out something to do at that time to get you away from the food. Nothing is wrong with an afternoon snack...just depends on what it is.

I'd also like to lose at least 5 pounds in April, although I'm off to a rough start - I sprained both ankles on the 1st. Hopefully I'll be able to bounce back in a week or two and get going again. I check my weight on Monday and will post then.

I am 5'8", 33 years old and 177 pounds. My goal is 140, but I don't know when I'll ever hit that one! I usually do yoga 5 days a week and walk/jog on the treadmill 3-4 days a week and walk outside 3-4 days a week.

I need lots of motivation, so hopefully this will help me out!

I'm trying to cut calories, exersize 5-6 days a week, atleast something, I have Slim in 6 tapes, not much cardio on those, so I'm determined to get on the treadmill! Everyone around me has be bugging me about joining running clubs, but I want to get to 3 miles first!
My fiance & I are celebrating 1 year June 5th, I want to be in great shape by then, I already lost a bet to him to to look like Jessica Simpson by March, now I'm shooting for June!

Alright here's my plan.

I'm Sarah I'm 27yr's old, 5'9, 150pds. My goal is to get to 130. I want to do cardio 30min a day, strenght train 3xweek. I also want to try to be better about eating. I'm pretty good all day, except around 3. For some reason I binge around that time. If anyone has any suggestions on how not to do that, Id appreciate it.

Welcome Sarah, Gloria, and Penny.

I don't have a specific game plan set up for a group, but thought each of us could share what we are doing to help each other with ideas on what is working and what is not. This thread would be great to share our thoughts and give/get support through out the month, or a new thread could be started each Friday. Which ever would work better.

My plan: I'm 5'5", 33 yo, and 138 pounds. My calorie goal is not to exceed 1,600 daily (although I do at times, but I do not beat myself up about it) and my exercise goal is 30 minutes a day. I would like to aim for 64 oz of water, 7-8 hours of sleep, a remember to take my vitamin daily. I just bought a new pair of running shoes, so I would like to start incorporating walking/jogging/running into my exercise 3x a week.

What is your plans? I am here to give anyone support and encouragement. Reply here or send me an email anytime.
