So far this is a good day. I made the Apple Celery Salad that is in the recipes section, it is delicious, and made enough for like 4 servings to save in my fridge for the rest of the week.

I'm also looking forward to my gym night tonight (most nights I'm outside walking or working out in my house, tuesdays I'm on campus and can take advantage fo the rec center.)

Congrats on all the good work, I weighed in today and I was down 2.8 pounds from last week. Yea!!!!! Everyone have a good easter!! Stay away from the treats, it won't be worth it the next day.

i did good yesterday my cals were low but i got alot of excersize in i walked 2 miles in the morning and 4 in the evening plus did 30 mins on my gazelle woohooo hoping for a good lose this week.

Good morning all.
Welcome all newcomers. We are all in this together.
I stayed within my calorie range yesterday.
This morning I ate my special K and milk.
I got some cardio in on the treadmill and did 10 minutes of upper body with weights.
It makes me feel very good to get this done in the mornings.

I normally dont look for new challenges until the beginning of the month, so I doubt I am on time to start this one...10 pounds by APril 20th, when it is April 2nd. However, My original goal was to be 125 by April 20th. I strained a muscle pretty bad which kept me from my course for a spell, but I am back in action & NEED to get these pounds off before my trip to the ocean April 25th. Therefore I would love to jump on the wagon even if I am late, so I push myself real hard! Having others by you through it really does help! I love SP!

I think I'm chiming in on this challenge.
I'm hoping to be down to 120 by may 22, when I move to Seattle.
so I think this may be a good challenge for me to go with.

plus it'll be nice to have some people to do this with!

Good for you on your weight loss. The only way I get this to show up is to go to "my home" and under "message" go to "my posts".

It's so good to see all the weight loss! :)

I weighed today and I am down again now at 162.8, going to 156, so all is good and I am back on track. My weight tracker red and black line are just about neck and neck now! And that is a good feeling.

Another good feeling I had was this morning when I was getting dressed, and standing in front of my mirror in just my underwear, and the thought crossed my mind, that this summer, I'll be able to wear some shorter blouses with my hip hugger pants, and show a bit of stomach! That's just way cool and such a motivator for an old woman approaching 50! te he!
You know, I was there when hip huggers were popular the first time around! so that entitles me to wear em with pride :).

Also, I still am not getting this thread into my inbox. Does anybody have any speculations on why that might be? It would sure be nice to keep up automatically, instead of having to come in and search out this thread.

Hi everyone,
I am down one pound and 1.5" off my waist and .5" off my hips. I was very happy to see the inches gone, but I can tell by the way that my clothes are fitting me that something is happening.
It makes me very happy and motivated.
I am going to do a 5k challenge tomorrow, so just kinda going to stretch today and WATCH those calories, so far havent done to bad for the weekend which is my problem time.
Have a great weekend and congratulations to all of you that lost weight or maintained or lost inches, and to those that are still hanging in here.

Down 2 pounds so far. I didn't have a very good week with my calories and exercise, but did better yesterday and am staying on track today.

No change in weight today but at least I haven't gained. Still down 7lbs since start of challange. Have faithfully gotten my excercise in but need to work harder on daily cardio instead of just 3 days a week. Now that the weathers warmer though I'm getting the kids I care for outside more so at least a bit of running around thier the other days.

Wow, we love our cereal around here! This reminds me I need to go out and get some milk or tomorrow morning I'll be sad!

I did pretty good today but I'm very low on groceries so not getting the fruits and veggies I need. Scale was down this morning but weigh day is tomorrow so I'll believe it when I see it then!

Congrats to everyone who lost, maintained, worked hard at their goals, didn't give up!

That's great, keep going. I put on a pair of pants I haven't been able to wear in a year. Slowly but surely it's coming off. Everyone keep up the good work, it will be so worth it in the end.

I did pretty well with eating yesterday.
This morning I had my special k.
Got my morning stretch in and a 20 minute mile on the treadmill. I feel very good today.
It all makes a difference in how I feel. Not bogged down by the bad foods and my muscles feel good from the exercise. What could be better?

Getting ready to do a 10-minute ab segment on Turbo Jam, just finished a long walk with the mutts. I sure hope I see some results this week, oh please oh please...

I like Kashi too. I have been big into Special K lately though, any flavor. It makes a great breakfast or evening snack, if I must have one.
I also do better if I put my meal plan down at the beginning of the day, so I can plan (RESERVE) those calories for the important things and hopefully eliminate mindless munching.
I will be weighing in on Friday also.
