Jenifer - it sounds like you have had some great success in loses. Congrats!

My weigh-in today is 203.8 down 1 pound from last week. It probably would have been better but I gave in to my husband and ate ice cream last night before bed. Oh well. I think I stayed within my calorie range though.

June 15

1 - 1546

3 - 8 cups water

Gaby, I like sweets but it seems carbs are my craving of choice.

Well I gave myself two "freebie" days where I didn't track my calories, I tried not to overdo it and I knowing what I know about the food I eat I'm sure I stayed under 2,000.

I weighed this morning 183 so no change in weight, however today was my personal measurement day (I do it monthly) and Overall (since starting my weight loss journey I've lost 1.75 inches in my chest, 2.25 in my waist, 1.5 in my hips, 1.5 in my thighs, nothing in my calves (no suprise they never looked any different always had a lot of muscle there), and gained some in my arms. So 7 inches lost 7 lbs from that day (I gained some before starting spark). Since last week though I've lost 0.3% body fat.

Well I made the mistake of going out to eat on an empty stomach last night. Ended up ordering pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. (Yummy) But ended up going way over on calories.
I guess I need to be more careful, to plan ahead when I go out, so I don't eat as much bad food.

It was a pretty good day

Jaime hope you have a good trip and good luck at the airport. I've been through quite a number in the last few years but cannot imagine what it would be like mother alone with 2 kids.
Good for you on the running as well. I am going to check out a site called coolrunning and I might start a program next week monday....maybe

4. I was doing very well and so proud of my running...and then they had cake and punch after church for a "going away party" for a couple in our church who are moving. I just lost my mind. Literally. I know there's going to be cake on Saturday and some other really good munchies, so I have to figure out a way to keep my head. So long as I don't eat anything all day, I can enjoy myself at the party. But it's not until 5:00, so I'm going to have to keep busy all day so I don't notice I'm hungry :) Sometimes I wish I worked for UPS or some other very physically active job. I'd NEVER eat and I'd get tons of exercise. When I'm active, I don't get hungry. I'm sure it's going to be a very busy day with setting up and running erands in preparation, so hopefully between that and seeing all of my family and friends, there won't be time to eat...and I'll keep physically active. I'm also worried that I'm not going to get my rear in gear on the walking/running trail. I have been trying to find a way to entice my sisters and/or Mom to go to the mall, and then take a nice walk while there. At least get something in. I pushed my running to 33 minutes this morning - with 20 straight, a couple of minutes off, 5 on, 3 off, 5 on, 5 off, 3 on, and the rest walking. I hope I don't lose that by the time I get back on my home trail on Tuesday. i'm taking my computer with me as I have to work a few hours each day at Mom and Dad's, so I'll be able to keep up on posting (I hope). Wish me lots of luck, and keep me on the straight and narrow, girls. Oh, and on top of my great workout this morning, I have a good chunk of walking to do in the airport tonight. I'm flying out of Reagan National with a layover in Detroit. That terminal for NWA is huge, so between carrying my computer, the diaper bag, Arielle, and the stroller (most likely she'll be in the child carrier and not the stroller...she hates it, but at least it will carry some of my stuff if I have to carry her), it's a haul! Anyhow, off to work and then finish packing.

And great job to everyone! We've got quite a little working group here! I hope we can just keep on "challenging" together even after this one is up. We'll have to come up with another one :)

Have a great day, girls.

I was craving something sweet but since I gave everything away to my SIL also my next door neighbour ( that is all I miss about the old place) to make our move load lighter I didnt have anything sweeties. It is a very good thing of course, I had a pear instead.

I mostly do at home exercise videos which I really enjoy but would like to start running as well. To me it would be a great accomplishment to be able to do a 5 mile run without having to stop. I'm scared to take that first step though.

4. I didn't even have time to think about food today, specially at night.. so I had a pretty good day.

I am not a running person I actually avoid it, but I agree it is a great cardio exercise and lots of calories can be burned..I've been doing 5 mins every time I work out, I know that will give that little kick to my exercise rutine..

Jenifer, do you like sweets?, have you tried raisins or cheerios for snack, I love these and they actually cut my sweet cravings, I also pack grapes or oranges, but I alwyas need a sweet snack in the afternoon..

Jamie, have you tried using a little bandaid in that part of your ankle where it hurts?..or is it the whole area?

Shawna, I hope your stressful time goes away soon, i hear your pain, I hope you find an affordable car soon

4. I'm VERY happy with my progress with running. Today I added 2 more minutes to running. I think the greatest motivating factor is all of the calories burned in a 60-minute run :) Since I just barely have time for any cardio, I want to get the most out of it. I just wish I could get my knees and ankles to cooperate. My knees are getting better, but my ankles ache even while I'm lying in bed at night. And I just bought new shoes that are rubbing into the back of my heel. In fact, a couple of days ago, I took them off and headed for the shower when my husband noticed blood dripping down my ankle. It always hurts when I first start but gets numb after a while. Anyhow, despite the obstacles, I'm persevering and seeing progress! I just hope it doesn't go down the tubes this weekend when I'm at Mom & Dad's.

2 - walked to the store instead of driving
3 - 8 or 9
4 - gave into a major craving and it actually worked for me since I didn't go over calories(I had a few more graham crackers than I should have)

I've decided I need to make veggie packs otherwise I just don't eat them, who wants to wash cut veggies when you're craving something like a snack, much easier to open a bag of chips. I'm hoping by doing that then I won't be as tempted to eat the "bad" stuff.

I love love love the cold weather. Unfortunately we live in Oklahoma where the high today is 100. Yikes. We haven't found a car yet. It is kind of frustrating b/c I don't work since I have two small children. I would hate to have to go back to work just to buy a car. My oldest cried today when I told her mommy might have to start working again. It broke my heart. Plus yesterday I had to take my vacumm in and get it fixed. At least my in-laws are great and are letting us borrow their car for a couple of weeks. I did weigh in today forthe heck of it. I am back down to 207. Yay.

Good luck to all you moving girls.

Janet, I don't like the idea of the moving situation....specially when there is a man and a kid (with lot's of toys and movies :) in the house..

Ok, here goes: I haven't been tracking my food the way I should since Saturday. My daughter graduated from high school last night, and I've had a house full of people, and I'm working so I feel lucky to have a chance to sit down and post this. But things should be getting back to normal, until Saturday, when I go out of town! I haven't been eating great, but I haven't been eating horribly, either. Probably just the sweets and restaurant food are throwing me off with the calories. Good news: I lost one pound (probably because I've been too busy to snack at all) so I'm still on track with weight loss. I've been trying to drink water, but I could add a couple glasses to that. The only exercise I've been doing is running from place to place and cleaning up after people. Today's a new day, though. 15 pounds to go by July 31st. I hope I can do it.
