Okay guys how about this for a new challenge we each challenge ourselves to walk just a few steps better than we think we can do. Whatever those numbers will be. To me it just helps to post the numbers. So go back to May 1st and start posting if you would like to.

Don't think I'm going to do another challenge right now. I have jury duty right now and don't know how long that will last.

Polama, perhaps at the first of summer~June22? You could start one between now and then, if you like. I try to set up the guidelines and post it to the Challenges site about a week before starting one.

Hope everyone is having a great week. It's hump day, so it's all downhill from here.

Wow it was so terrible not to have any Sparks em for days and days, they aren't sure why but it seems anyone with Yahoo wasn't getting any mail. Yesterday I finally got two and today I got two.
Are we going to do steps again for May? Teddie

Congtratulations to everyone that took part in this challenge. We were all successful if you met the 500,000 steps or not. We all kept moving. Here are my final steps. Sorry for posting late. I was traveling and didn't get home until 3:30 this morning.

Thanks so much for organizing this thread. I KNOW I would never have accomplished as much as I did if I weren't so vigilant with the pedometer. I plan to keep on doing this - and pushing myself to go even when I don't feel like it. It was fun and gave me a real sense of accomplishment to complete the task.

WELL! So close but not quite enough. I finished with only 7,285 steps and 2.84 miles to go. Not bad, but could have been much better. BUT - I keep a-steppin' !
Great Challenge, Tricia and thank you so much for organizing it. I learned to keep moving no matter what. I also learned that the 'what' for me was not feeling well. I just don't move much then, preferring to curl up into a ball ! LOL

Congratulations to everyone. It's been great. See ya 'round the boards !

Well, I came close, but no prize here! As some have already said, at least we improved our steps overall! I know I have improved my awareness of how much walking I do. And that will only help me in the long run! Thanks for organizing this and I look forward to another challenge in the future!

Well we made it through another step challenge! Thanks again to you Tricia for getting this challenge started and encouraging us all. I like wearing my pedometer because I can glance @ it and know that I need to walk another mile or so.It gives me that extra little ....kick !

I still have today (Sunday) to meet the goal. I started walking on a Monday (got in a bit late)but today is the end of the month anyway so I'm really hoping I can walk the few steps I need to meet the mark.

Hi everyone! We're at the end. Hope everyone was able to reach their goal, and if we fell short, we did our best! I think each and every one of you put forth lots of effort and is healthier now than six weeks ago.

I've learned so much with the stepping challenges. I now know just how big a Walmart parking lot is, and I can easily go up 3 flights of steps instead of taking the elevator, and I can make several trips to the laundry room, to add extra steps and become more fit. I'm in Stage 4 now, maintenance, and I've stayed exactly the same weight over the last 6 weeks. It's a good feeling to know that I can stay active, eat well and not do battle with the scale!

Thanks for everyone's particiption in this challenge. I'll figure up my total for the whole challenge and give you the results tomorrow morning.

Cut grass today, so that should help up my steps some. I've added everything up and need 26,730 steps for the last two days. I'm up to 11,438 today, so we'll see how it goes. I need to cut the backyard tomorrow and that will help also. Hope I can reach the half million goal!

I am a toot head for not posting. I put my steps into my personal journal every night, but haven't been too good about posting them here on the Challenge site. Now that it's daylight savings time, I stay busy until it gets dark and then it's about bedtime for me. I'll post them now and add them up to see where I am for the final days.

OK, I've faced the fact that I may not make it by Saturday. I'm not sure I can do almost 30000 steps in 2 days, but I will try. If not, I should do it on Sunday, so I won't feel quite so bad. Had a glorious walk in the sunshine yesterday afternoon, which helped my steps a bit. Have a great Friday!
