| I did not report my Mon. weigh in yesterday but am glad to say that I have lost 6lbs this week. Hope everyone is doing well.

I stayed the same, too.
BUT, I was out shopping, trying on size 16 dresses, and decided to take that leap and try on a 14. It FIT! It was comfy, and I bought it. I'm beside myself for hitting that milestone.
I was telling my buddy, that the first thought was Dairy Queen! But I pulled that thought back, and bought matching shoes instead

| Well I maintained this week. I was kind of disappointed because I did so good this week. Ate awesome, did one 1 hour jog, one 40 min jog, workout 3 times, played soccer game yesterday for 30 min. But TOM just arrived so that is probably why. I guess I did better because last time TOM was here I think i gained like 5 lbs. So I sure hope next weeks weigh in will be a lot better.

did my real "weigh-in" today, the monday weigh-in. Lost 1 pound from yesterday, which puts me at a 9 pound loss from last monday!! I keep thinking something is wrong, but on last mon. I had just binged the whole weekend with my husband - so alot of that weight was probably water. So, I had re-weighed myself last tuesday -- which was probably a more accurate weight. Still, though, from last tuesday I have a very exciting 5 pound loss to report!!! Hope everyone else has a great week!!
I hear you HHSKINNY on what a week without excersizing can do. For me a day without that will throw me off!!! Enjoy getting back into the routine - I have!!

| Congratulations on the weight loss! I am currently back to square one. The 5lbs. that I lost came back after a visit to family. But I have managed to lose 1lb. of that already. Not being able to exercise for an entire week was not good. I am now back on track and hope to see more positive results.

What a nice surprise! Congratulations on the loss! Whatever routine you've discovered, stick to it. And I can relate to being over the moon when you get to another set of "tens" on the scale. When I finally got to the '60's, I was on cloud 9!

And you'll make Mother's Day easily at this rate.

I can't seem to stop cheating and stay off of the scale until the Mon. weigh-ins! The curiosity kills me!! Well, last Mon. I weighed in at 237. I weighed myself this morning....and...dun dun dun... 229!!!! I feel like such a dweeb that I am so excited to see the 20's on the scale!! I really shouldn't be so excited about weighing that much, but I am.
I have been trying to do Tae Bo everyday now, my kicks are s-l-o-w-l-y getting higher. The biggest loser workout is still kicking my butt though - burning thighs I tell you what.
It feels so good to be back into an excersize routine. I hope I can keep this up and I'll come really close to my mother's day goal of 215. I just have to say that I am so happy that God has helped me through all of this. I feel incredibly blessed that I am even able to excersize and that He has pushed me along the way! :o)

Wow, Michelle! TaeBo - I've never been brave enough to try it. But getting through it like you have is awesome! Good job!
I'm sure you are already packing and moving, but I wanted to wish you well. Have you ever been to Georgia before? I have a few friends there, but have never visited them there - they've always come to Colorado. Safe trip to you and the family!
I was a good kid and worked out Monday through Thursday. I took Friday off because we moved our warehouse, and I knew that would be a workout all it's own! And it was. 11 miles on my pedometer, but the job is complete!
I stayed in range most of the days - but was still fortunate enough to lose 6 ounces. Whoo-hoo! I have to go dress shopping tomorrow, my son's First Communion is next Sunday!

Hi everyone. I have been having a great week!!! I am actually having trouble eating enough calories; I guess I will enjoy this new problem for its very short run, because reality is next week probably won't be so great :o). I've been having fun with my new workout routines too. Great news!!! Well, two things actually, One - I got through the entire TaeBo tape for the first time in nearly 4 years this week (Twice!!!) -- it felt great, Second, finally got a moving date, May 2 we'll be heading down to Geogia, so I better use next week since the week after that will be chaos. Hope everyone else is having a great week too!!
Funny story, by the way, Erin. Glad to hear you are doing well.

Hi, Ladies!
I've been up and down with this silly cold, but I think that I've got it kicked.
This week I'm down a whopping 6 ounces and I'm thrilled about it. I also found out that we won't be going to Hawaii until June of 2007, so the pressure is off to lose all this weight before Christmas. Phew!
I also had a 'duh' moment last week when I was having my semi-annual thryoid blood check. I've been hypothyroid for about 18 years now, and had forgotten how difficult it was to lose weight because of it. Now I don't feel like I'm doing something wrong when I follow calories and my exercise schedule and don't lose but a few ounces.
LOL - I can see the look on my docs face when she was complimenting me on the weight I'd already lost, and I expressed my frustration..... it would have been worth a picture or two. I think if she could have slapped me upside the head she might have. I love my doctor.
Anyway, sorry for the rambling here - it just feels good to feel healthy again after several weeks of not being 'up to snuff', you know?

| Hello everyone. I have been unable to eat well or exercise this week because we are in KY visiting family until Sat. I hope this week does not have negative results. I can say that I did not overeat for Easter dinner but I did give in and have a small piece of cheesecake. Didn't ever think I would say this but I can't wait to get home and start eating better.

Well I maintained this week. No change. I think it is pretty good after going to 2 birthday dinners, easter dinner and of course easter chocolate. lol. This will be a better week. I did good at eating. No second servings. Did pretty good for a busy eating kind of long weekend. Actually no, I lost 1 lb. Cool. I just looked at my last week weigh in. I thought I was 163 last week. So cool I did manage to lose .5 lbs.

okay, I cheated and weighed myself today even though I had weighed in yesterday. I was hoping my 6 pound gain from over the weekend had been mostly water weight. Well, this moring I weighed in at 233. I am hoping that is a more accurate than the 237 of yesterday. Either way I am trying my best!!

Condolences on the loss in your family.
Wow! It sounds like a busy time in your life - but the cool part is you are keeping the focus. Could you say that a year ago? Keep up the great attitude, and good work. You are going to do great!
I've been out because this silly cold just won't let go. I still lost 2.5 pounds, but I think that's more because nothing tastes good, and I would rather sleep than eat. I think it's the cold meds. If this isn't gone by Monday, I'm going to the doc. It's been almost 2 weeks, and I want to get back to exercising again - I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually MISS it! My, how the times have changed for me!

| Michelle, Sorry to hear of your loss. I understand how difficult this must be due to the young age. My cousin just lost his wife to cancer at age 31. They were married since both were 19 years old (12 year marriage). As for the move, I hope all goes well. Don't feel bad about losing only 4lbs. I have only lost 5lbs. I guess a can blame lack of exercise due to my ankle surgery but things are getting better each day. I hope you can soon say the same. Hang in there! You can do it.

hey all! long time since I've been on SP. sorry, been a crazy month. just got back home from MI (live in VA now) had a death in the family -- very sad, he was only 21. My husband has been out to sea and we just found out we are moving to GA in a week!!! Needless to say I have been doing horrible at this challenge. Currently I have only lost about 4 pounds!!!! I am pretty mad at myself, but now that I am home and have a week before packing up starts I will be trying my hardest to have a slight catch up :). Glad to see you all have stuck with it!!!

Whew! I was a bit worried, but I weighed in at 135.5 yesterday. No loss, but that's ok. I weighed myself on Sunday and had gained 2.5 lbs!! Of course, it was my TOM and I knew (or at least hoped) that it was just a temporary gain. yea!!!! Boy! this last 10 lbs is a challenge!!!

I too have gone up. I gained 2 lbs. Been doing such yo-yo gain and losses. This last week I just felt frustrated. I have the terrible thing of expecting more results sooner. Just because I lost a few pounds I try on some of my clothes or go try to shop a little and feel all down on myself all over again. Trying hard not to use any shakes or energy/fat burning pills. I want to do it on my own this time, so that it lasts - more life style changing. So last wednesday I started a little biggest loser Challenge with my family and friends. We all live in 3 towns, so there is 3 teams. We are doing it for 9 weeks. I am hoping that will help me improve. After work I am going for my run. Get back to running. I think I better put away my smaller clothes so they won't disappoint me again, and promise no more trying to shop for myself until Mothers day. Maybe that will help. Read my affirmations more often. I joined a womens soccer league that starts in 2 weeks. Well I hope we all do better this week.

I'm going to work on my sewing, and when it warms up I have some rosebushes to plant. I'm hoping that's not too much to do. I'm such a wimp when it comes to colds. Thankfully, I don't get them that often!
Congrats on the loss! I think I'm pretty much the same this week, but hope to get back up and running in a few days.
Leigh - my best weeks were the ones that I planned my menu in advance.

I am loosing all of my progress..I am back up to 148.I did just perfect for 2 weeks and then I just seemed to give up. The most important thing is I am still not smoking! Its been 89 days. I think I am still substituting for when I used to smoke I now eat.
I think I need to plan a menu for the week. That seemed to help last time.
Erin, I am sorry you got a cold this late in the season. I would Definately not workout. You need all your strength to get your immune system back up.

Erin, Sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather. I tell my kids to share but when it comes to germs, I draw the line!! Be sure to get plenty of rest. I've stayed the same this week, and not lost. I'm fighting a cold that my little sweethearts are sharing with me. Bleh.

| And for the second week in a row, I have GAINED, I blame it on not being at home much, but really it's no willpower, I took my daughter to a hockey game, we ate out all week, YUCK!! Oh Man.
THAT would have been my downfall! A bakesale. Congratulations on making it through and getting back on track so quickly.
Daylight savings time is doing me in for some reason. I couldn't get motivated on Sunday - though I did work out, but this morning - ei-yi-yi. I couldn't get up to save my soul. I'm hoping that tomorrow is a better - if not easier day!

My week started out so strong..and this weekend was a total waste! I actually had to work a bake sale from 11:00 - 3:00 yesterday!!!
I went to a workout class this morning with a friend..it felt good... then we went for a fruit salad for breakfast..so I am back on track...sigh
Way to go for those of you who are loosing!!! congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I had a pretty good week. Enjoyed my jogs this week. Did a good week of eating, except for one day went to a wedding on Saturday. I am very happy to say I lost 2lbs this week! Yeehaa! So I am going to keep doing what I am doing. Eating right, tracking food, jogging and aerobic dvd. Hope everyone has a great week!
