Ugghhh!!!!! Sorry Blue team. No weight loss for me this week. I am exercising like mad, 3.5 miles a night 4 nights a week. I'm doing a 9 minute mile! My calories are within range, but the weght won't go away.
Frustrated,
Shaun

Jazz! It's SO good to see you here and have you join us! The weight you've lost is very impressive! You are just about to hit the 80's! I wish we could count all that, but I can't because it would change all the totals for our teams since we started, so I just included last week as your starting weight on the 18th, and that way your weight for this week will count for the RED Team. When I figure up the final totals at the end of the challenge, everyone's individual weight will be listed with how many weeks they were in the challenge and their average loss per week, so in that respect you'll have an equal chance. I'll give you an update every week on what happened on the show so you don't feel 'out of the loop.' That will probably be good anyway as there are always others who miss the show for various reasons.

I think you'll have fun with us here! This is a very enthusiast group, everyone is very helpful, motivated and inspiring! We wish you all the best with being a 'BIG Loser'!

Hi everyone,
CruisePuppy extended an invitation to me to join this challenge for the RED team. I just wish I could see the show so I would know what all of you are talking about but I don't get it over here in Japan

Anyway, my weigh-in days are Tuesdays and Saturdays, so luckily I had a record of Tuesday weigh-ins.

Here are my losses:

9/6 202
9/13 199
9/20 196
9/27 195
10/4 194
10/11 193
10/18 192
10/25 190
11/1
11/18
11/15
11/29

I've lost 12 lbs. since the challenge started, or two pounds for this last week; however you want to score it for the team.

I went to the University of Nebraska, so saying "GO BIG RED!" comes pretty naturally to me!

Good week everybody!
Laurie

Here is my weigh in. Even with going to Branson still had a little loss.

9/12 180.8
9/19 181.4
9/27 179.8
10/3 178.2
10/11 175.6
10/18 175.0
10/25 174.4

.6 is better than no loss at all. Slowly but surely plugging away. Good luck all.

Sue and Michele--we all must be around the same height, because 185 and 155 are my BMI markers too. I hope we all make it there someday.

Michele,
185 is where my Obese turns into overweight too, then looking waaaaaayyyyy forward, 155 is where overweight turns into Healthy! My ultimate goal, Healthy.
Congratulations on the 2.5 lbs...that is an execellent job...one day I will get everything BACK together and get back on the multiple pound losses per week.
TTFN,
Sue

Another 2.5 pounds for the blue team! YAY!! That's funny about not being "obese." I'm really looking forward to getting to 185 because that's where my BMI crosses the line from "obese" to "overweight!"

It sounds like we're all having a pretty good week. Sandra, this may sound counterintuitive, but I find that drinking excess water helps me with the water retention -- kinda flushes it all out...

Good luck all!

Thanks Laney. I won't get discouraged, I promise. I'm coming off a roll where I lost good weight 4 weeks in a row, so I can't complain! It's at times like these where I take my own advice and step back to view the big picture. I open-up my on-line reports and see how my trend lines are down over-all, and I feel really good about the progress I am making.

(I say all of this now, but I'm going to feel really guilty if the red team loses by a pound or two... so Go Red!!!! ha ha)

Flat this week. Sorry red team. At least my body released a bit of water weight (or I would have been up!), but my rings are still tight, so there is more to be lost. Maybe next week!

I never drink diet sodas. Don't know where all this bloating is coming from!

Looks like there were a lot of great losses this week. I'm so proud of everyone! Go Red!

DARN IT!!!! Of coarse I could blame it on the TOM right now. But I think it's more of the few bad days last week. I have changed my diet goals to reflect less calories burned for a while, so my back can heal. This dropped my intake to 1230-1500 a day. Big difference from 1500-1800. And that was just changing from 2700 BURNED to 1000 BURNED a WEEK. I hope to do some walking, and might look for the walk away Pounds DVD's since I don't think I should do Tae-bo for a while.

I can't wait to watch the show. But I might have to tape it tonight. Since Hubby is trying to finish the Pumpkin carvings tonight. Hopefully he won't have to use the Roto Zip too often.

Good morning everyone. I have to say I am feeling a little better. It has been a tough 2 weeks grieving is such a peculiar thing one day your fine and the next day for no apparent reason you melt into a puddle of tears. Anyway I am down another 1.5 lbs this week.

Go Blue team.

Iam at 135 I think that is 2 pounds for me. I will take that. I wanted to share with all of you how things are changing for me with the one day diet. On the days I get to eat I don't want to waste it on junk I want things like veggies anf high fiber items. I haven't wanted Ice cream yet. Go Blue team.

Well I am down 1 pound this week. Not much but I will take it. 1 pound a week for a year is 52 pounds, I would definately be happy with that. You know the saying "slow and steady wins the race". I'll check back later. Good Luck to everyone.
Congrats Cruisepuppy and MrsJaynes. I hope that we all have a losing week.

GO BLUE!!!

Hey everyone!
Stacy, congrats on the new job! Cruisepuppy -- you're so disciplined to go to sleep to avoid grazing!! Rest is so wonderful, isn't it.

Sounds like everyone did well over the weekend. I can't wait for the weigh in. I have my fingers crossed that I'll have a loss!!!

So I did okay over the weekend. Think I snacked alittle too much. But I did go to the gym tonight. Yeah!! Wanted to feel like I did something for the team. I did 30 min on the bike and 20 min on the eplitical machine. It felt good. I just hope the scale is good to me tomorrow.

I will probably not be able to post until tomorrow night. I just started a new job and I will be training all week so i probably won't be able to get online until I get home.

Good luck to everyone and go Red Team!!!

Way to go, you guys! I'm so proud of how you handled being away over the weekend! Sounds like you did great! I can't wait to see how everyone did on our weigh-in tomorrow. Although I can't post from work, I DO check in all day long to get your reports and fill in our team charts as the day goes along. Tuesdays are my favorite day because of it, and then when I get home from work I get to watch the show! I'm going to bed earlier tonight because I'm in a 'grazing' mood, and just don't want to be tempted! I really want that number to be lower in the morning! Good Luck everyone!

Had a great time in Branson over the weekend. I also did well in the eating area. Stayed within goals. I had my food journal in my purse so it made me think. I also got lots of exercise walking around Silver Dollar City and went for a walk Saturday and Sunday at the motel. We stayed out by the Lake.

I had a good, active weekend but under the weather today. I did circuit training a little at a time throughout the day and got through the SP plan. whew!
I AM feeling lighter this week and think I'll have good news for the weigh-in tomorrow. Happy show watching!!

By the way. Thanks again team! Hubby and I went out of town this last weekend. We ate out all weekend and I was sooo tempted to splurge and eat fattening stuff and lounge around instead of exercise... but I was really good with my food choices (came home and logged it all and was within my range on both days). I even went to the hotel gym to work out on Saturday and out for a long brisk walk on Sunday.

You guys are my inspiration. It's one thing to be accountable to oneself for one's actions. It's another thing to be accountable to my red team. I really hope I don't let you guys down this week!

Go Red!

Lynn, OK, so do you think it will help if I eat a banana? cool... I need my fruit today. I'll go get one!

Red team... I'm tryin'! I KNOW I've lost at least a pound. I just need to get rid of all this bloating so it will show on the scale tomorrow!!!
