Hi all
Just wanted to post 140 down 1 pound. Sorry I'm not doing better but I am starting today to be a tester for the 1 day diet. I wanted to weigh in at a true weight so I made it to the Doctors this morning to step on the scale. 144 including shoes and clothes. I am ready to hit the road running. Talked to my neighbor this morning and asked her if she wanted to start walking again. I can't watch the show for the next 6 weeks because I am taking a spanish class.

Wow Michele-great job..and all the other losers...I am in a BIG rush..Got to work late as I had a Boob appt. this morning..

Sorry team I am back up the 2 pounds I lost..I know its TTOTM and I was kinda bad over the weekend..I am going to go to the gym tomorrow night and try to get some work outs in over the weekend..My cals were low yesterday and I am trying to stay away from sweets..

Had a bit of a stressfull night and I was very hyper and didnt eat dinner till late(which was light)

sorry Lynn to hear of such a double whamy of sad/bad news..My heart goes out to you..Hang in there..

Lynn, bless your heart. i can't help but cry for you, your coworker, and your mother. i can relate to how you feel about your mother. mine passed away a year ago after being sick for many many years. she was such a strong woman and time after time proved the doctors wrong and kept living (and living well, i might add) against all odds. i was beginning to believe in miracles and almost believe that she would just defy nature and live forever. it was a bitter pill to swallow when she passed.
i hesitate posting, because i don't want to make you sad. that's not my intent. it is to let you know that i cry for you and in some small way, can relate to the pain you feel.

Hey all I just weighed for the first time in a month and guess what?? I'm down 5 lbs. It was a bright spot that I needed in my day today. What a week this has been abslutely tramatic, and I am proud to say for an emotional eater I believe that I have done quite well the last 2 days.

Sunday night I found out that a lady that I work with who had went on maternity leave delivered a still born baby since we are a very close knit family of workers this was devastating news. By the way I work with a non-profit that promotes early child health and works toward bringing down the infant mortality rate in the six counties we work in. Talk about a blow this hit us right where we live. Then as we are preparing ourselves for the funeral my aunt calls and tells me that she talked to my moms cancer doctor and they are saying we could lose her in a matter months. I have a strong faith in God and we are looking for a miracle. I guess I just wasn't prepared to hear someone say those words. Anyway I came into work today, we were all leaving for the funeral together from work and then my dad called and said that my mom had been sick all night and he was taking her to the hospital. What a day!!

Lula, I had written in 229 as your starting weight based on what you told me back at the beginning when you started, so that would be 3 according to my chart, do you agree? Go back and check your post back then and let me know if I'm correct?

StepMonster, I had you down for 245 last week, so are you at 257 this week then? Just wanting to make sure I have everyones numbers right...thanks!

So I lost the 2 pounds I gained last week. Yeah Red Team. Back to 221. So I so want to see under 220 by next week!!

Getting a new scale in the middle of the biggest loser Challenge is not a good idea. According to that, I gained 12 lbs. Realistically, I think I gained 5 lbs, and the new scale is adding another 7. Sorry Blue--I'll do better this week.

Thanks Michelle, I was thinking too, that my undies feel a little looser.
I did go through and make the weight change on my diet goals and that adjusted my calories slightly lower again. So maybe I was too high the last few weeks. Plus the last couple days I have not been drinking all of my water. I will have to remember to add my Pumpkin Seed Oil pills for the next week to my Calories, I noticed that they have 20 calories for 2 pills. For my detox I need to take 20 Every OTHER day. That's 100 calories the days I have to take them. But it's only for 10 days / 3 weeks.

Shara, yes my clothes are looser!! In May I was wearing size 20 Tommy Hilfiger (stretch) and they were snug; 10 days ago I bought a pair of jeans on the clearance rack at Macy's as a "get me through to the clothes in my closet" pair -- they're a size 18, not stretch and they're baggy in the legs and butt, I really need to start focusing on the tummy. I bought them though because the TH's were just so sloppy looking, hated wearing them out to dinner and stuff. Even my undies are getting loose! LOL

Congrats to everyone thus far. This was a fantastic idea and I really hope we continue it after the show ends. I know winters are very tough for me in weight loss and to have all of you to account to each week will keep me honest.

Hey Blue team I am down 2.6 pounds this week, I am so excited, I was worried because was sick last week and was not sure how I would do, did better than I thought I would. I also agree, no change is better than gain and if you are working out a lot more then small gain is probably muscle and will in the long run be better as will start burning more fat. Good job everyone. Go Blue!

I've got a pound to offer the Red team today! I was hoping for 2 lbs... Even held my breath and got on and of the scale 5 times to see if I could rationalize another pound. Then I went to the bathroom a second time and tried again! LOL. Oh well. I'm still very pleased with losing a pound.

I don't do my trick or treat weigh-in until Friday. Maybe i'll get that next pound by then and then I can carry it forward to next Tuesday!

At weigh-in this morning, I was 254 - 1 pound down from last week. I'm happy - especially considering we went out to dinner last night for my roommate's birthday! Slow and steady wins the race!

Good Morning All. Sue & Cruise, good job -- no gain is good and Cruise, with all your workouts I bet you're getting great muscle tone - which we know weighs more than fat. Hopefully us "NSers" will come through for you and the RED team this week since you've been doing all the work thus far. Beckie, you've shown a LOSS and that's something!! Don't fret or give up.

I was pretty disappointed this morning. Hopefully I can start doing better in another week or so. I thought my hip was out so I went to the chiropractor yesterday and it was, but I have so much muscle damage in my hip, lower back, and buttock, that I am still in a lot of pain when I move around. I am going to try and take a walk when I can down the road and back. Seems walking around helps a little.

GO TEAM!!!!!! I can't wait to see the show tonight. My husband wasn't. But he can get over it.

As hard as I tried for the RED Team this week, I am afraid I gained a half pound. I followed my plan all week, and even increased the exercise from 30 min to 45 min a day, but, it's also TOM, so hopefully next week will be much better. For now, my team mates will have to carry the ball for this week! Go RED!

Good Morning All!

Well I didn't gain or lose any this week, I have stayed exactly the same...177.5. But I am ok with that because I have a kidney infection and I haven't been able to exercise much at all, so I am glad that I didn't gain.Hopefully this will clear up soon and I will be able to start my exercising again, I just can't do it right now because of the pain in my kidneys. Sorry Blue Team!

Hey, Everybody! Tomorrow's our big day! Ya'll...don't get focused on those scale numbers, it's so easy to let ourselves get depressed if the numbers don't say what we hope they will! This is a lifetime change, and real weight loss takes time. Focus instead on meeting your goals of staying in your range and exercising consistently EVERY DAY. The weight loss will be a side effect of that. But, in the process, it will have it's ups and downs, and isn't going to give up easily.

For those who have been out of town, had holidays, or just had a rough week this week, don't look back and beat yourself up over it, and get all pscyched out over it. Just keep looking forward, read something motivational, see how closely you can follow your plan for a few days and I promise you'll see the scale moving in the right direction soon after. Don't let your actions follow your feelings, instead take positive actions and your feelings will soon follow!! Little weight losses done consistently add up quickly with time.

Alright, RED Team...that was todays PEP talk! I can't wait for tomorrow's show, and to see our own SP results!! Losing weight is NOT for wimps!!! Let's DO IT!!

Woohoo!!! I'm glad I'm not the newest "loser" anymore (lol). I have been so good this week, but don't know that the scale will show it tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers. I sure would love to pull in some numbers for the blue tomorrow.

Ok well today I did pretty good..I am actually hungry for dinner..I will probably go to the dogpark, and I have to go to the market(at least for cat food)and I have to be home around 8pm so ex DH can drop off the dog..

I can't wait for tomorrow's show and weight in...I hope I lost this week. I have been having problems with no loss or a gain, even when I eat within my calories almost everyday. I have one day I don't make it under my max and suddenly I have gained 5 pounds or something ridiculous. I talked to Coach Dean and he suggested I add more "good" carbs like, veggies and fruits. I wasn't getting enough compared to my total calories, so I am adjusting that and hopefully I will see more consistent results...so cross your fingers for tomorrow morning!
