Oh I feel for you. I have a 14 year old in the same boat, sometimes I just wanna grab him by the ear and do it anyway, but he is taller and heavier than me now! I hope he will come to his senses at some stage and think things over...

She says "No." So what! Tell her, don't ask her. Never phrase as a question what is really a statement/directive.

You can also try to make it fun...so many miles walking, she earns a pedicure in addition to better health).

My daughter is overweight the doctor would like to see her weigh between 150-160 she is 13 years old and is almost 5'6. every time I try to get her to exercise or go for a walk with me or the dog she says no and if I keep on her she will storm to her room. I do make her lunches for school she gets 1/2 bagel with cream cheese and low fat cookies or something similar. And usually she takes a 20 oz bottle of water. She also suffers self-esteem issues because kids at school tease her and her 16 year old brother messes with her I ground him but I don't know what to do about school. Any suggestions I would appreciate it. Another problem is she is ADHD.
