The anger issues are the point of concern that you wrote for me. Help her work out the anger. It could be triggering the emotional eating in her.
The other thing is that she could be rebelling. If I recall right this was about the age I did.
Don't force the issue of weight

My sons weight was getting out of control. So I no longer give him large amounts of pocket money, I make his lunches and refuse to buy junk food unless he gets off his butt and walks the 2 km to the local shop.
I have started buy sugar free cola, and give him popcorn instead of chips when entertaining friends. He is no longer sour at me, and actually told a few days ago his weight has been more stable. I received a huge hug, but we both know there is alot of work to be done yet. But for someone whom is frightened of veges, getting him to take a home made lunch is a big start!

| I agree that maybe the anger is causing the overeating. Also, could you guys take walks to gether to get her some exercise?

| Have you thought about maybe just taking her to a therapist. I'd start working on the anger issues, maybe that is what triggers the weight issues, and I'd start with that!

| my 12 year old daughter is about 100 lbs over weight. And dosent care about it I have brought her to children classes on weight controll but she now refuses to attend. She has many anger issues aswell. I tell her the friends that she has now are kind to her but when she gets to high school. Is going to change.What shoud I do about it.
