| Congrats to anyone who can make a marriage work when they married as a teen. For Mark and and I it is now 31 years. Unfortunately no kids.

Hi there! My DH and I were Highschool sweethearts married at 17 & 18.
We are happily married (15 years now!) and have 3 awesome kiddos!!

| My husband and I met 3 months before we got married, I was 17 and 18 in Sept. 1977 and got married in Nov. 1977. Needless to say this Nov 23rd it will be 31 years and going stronger than ever. We just were never lucky enough to have had children. Moved around a little started our life in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and now Portland,Or. I don't ever recommend getting married while still in school but it worked and I graduated, thanks to him (he is 5years older). Congrats to all long term marrieds and to all who are losing weight and taking better care of themselves. deb

| My hubby and I started dating when I was 15 and he was sixteen. We got married at 18 and 19 and had our first baby a year later. We now have 3 children and will be celebrating our first 10 years married this November!

I was one of those silly kids who got married early. We were both sixteen. We have now been married 30 years, We have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. We beat the odds, they say. I just think we were both to hard headed to give up. But were still in love and looking forward to the next years.

| I started dating my husband on Valentine's Day 1988 when I was 15, he was 16. We married two years later on Valentine's Day (I was 17, he 18). We had 4 kids together. We had just celebrated our 14th anniversary when he succumbed to cancer. Now my daugher is 17 and I can't imagine her married!!!

| I had just turned 19 a week before the wedding and he was 21 and in the navy. He was my high school sweet heart whom I had been dating since I was 15. We're still married, going on strong, with two boys. This Dec. we will have been married 10 years!

| my DH and I met on Oct 18,1990 and started dating the next night. I was 15 and he was 17. July, 1994 I turned 19 and three wks later on Aug 19, we married, he was 20 just about to turn 21. we went straight from our parents homes to our married rental when we moved away to go to college. almost 14 yrs later, we are happily married w/ 2 boys, 9 and 3. I almost didn't go through w/ the wedding and I'm so glad I did b/c it was one of the best decisions I ever made. we both agreed that the D word wasn't in our vocab and no matter what we would put the other first and still do aside from our boys and God. He's my best friend, the one I live w/, live for and love.

Yesterday,a friend of mine and I got together,she is finishing a baby quilt(whinnie the poohe)and i am making the matching pillow.I will be making a 'Christopher Robin's'Biirthday Cake. The baby shower is this Saturday,at 3:pm.

I got married at 17, had first baby @ 19, then along came another...and another......5 boys!~! later and 27 years of wedded "bliss" and one daughter in law....I am ok with life. EXCEPT son #3 went to boot camp today!~!

I was 17 and Bill was 20 years old when we eloped.We just celebrated our 40th. anniversary Oct.9,2007!  . Since we were young, our parents,along with others said it will 'NOT LAST'! On Oct.13,2007,Bill and i renewed our vows to one another with a full church wedding!If any of you are interested,visit my s/p and you will see my wonderful husband(billa47)!! We then went on a 'honeymoon' for 10 days!

| I got married at 19, he was 21. We had planned a May 04 wedding but ended up being married in November 03 due to upcoming deployments for us both. We did our tour 04-05, came home divorced 05, and got back together not more than a month after the decree was signed 05, got remarried in june 06 and were expecting our first at that time.

| I got married when I was just 5 days of being 17 and my husband was 20. I wasn't pregnant or anything. I went to finish one more class my senior year going one night a week and on my gradutation day (almost a year later) I found out I was pregnant with my first little boy. It was exciting!

I was 19, my husband still 18, when we got married in 1964. We were in college at the time and I think our parents just gave up and let us get married because we spent most of our time together anyway. We didn't live together, though, not the thing to do back then.
We've been married 43 years now, two children, 6 grandchildren. We waited five years to have our first child, so I think that helped us have some time and space to 'grow up' together, as well as finish college and start our first jobs.

| My husband and I got married less than 2 months after I turned 19. He was 23.5 years old. We had a Ds together when I was 16 (3 months before my 17th b-day) and him 21. We got married when we felt ready. We didn't want to get married just because we had a baby together. Now we've been together over 6 years and our 3rd year anniversery is July 1st.

| I got married at 18 and my husband was 28 and our first child was 1 month old. It didn't work out. We argued and fought most of the 29 years that we were married. There was also a lot of infidelity going on in the marriage. we finally got divorced in 2001. That was a blessing.

| I was married at the age of 20 my husband was 19, we've been married for 6 1/2 years. We have 3 beautiful children. And have had a lot of ups & downs. I love my husband more than anything but there are days when I could scream. The only thing I would change is having kids so early in the marriage. Don't get me wrong I love my kids and wouldn't give them up for anything but I do think life would have been a little easier without kids thrown in so soon.

I think it helped that we waited almost five years before having our first child--it gave us time to be together, grow up, and grow into our marraige.

One of my best friends from high school got married at 17. They have been married 15 years and now have two kids.
They don't all turn out that way though. My husband was previously married and he was 19 and his ex was 17. They had two kids and barely survived four years of marriage.

I was married at 20 yrs old and that was 22 yrs ago, and to the same guy at that. LOL. I have been with him since high school, we went to the Jr. Prom together as friends and it stayed that way for 3 yrs, just friends. Then he graduated went away with the military, I went to visit him for a bit, still friends. The next thing I know we are in Lake Tahoe getting married. Things have been tough at times, and still are at times, but we are pretty realistic. We have 2 kids, 19 yr old daughter and 17 yr old son. I hope that helps your paper.
