Do you have a neigbor you can switch off with? Maybe watch her kid while she goes to the market in exchange? I used to do that when my kids were younger. Ask around you might get lucky!

Thanks for the website I am going to try it. My favorite thing to do though is still just dancing with my son.

Susie, I use my stairs to add variety to my exercise. Just turn on your favorite music and go. You might be suprised at how many calories you burn.

Beckie, thanks for the website, I think I'll try it tomorrow.

I love this video I got from the Crunch series. It is a workout that is dancing and it is fun to do, my four year old loves to do it with me. It will get your heart pumping and you can laugh at the same time.

If you get a chance I would suggest getting some resistance bands. You can do MANY exercises with those while watching TV. I actually got this book called The Fit Traveler that gives examples and comes with bands ( I can't remember how much it was) and I take it with me to the houses I nanny at and when all the kids are napping I do a few sets from the book. Here is the site I got the book from www.thefitnessboutique.com

Do some lunges, crunches, leg lifts, arm circles, side bends, do some stairs. This doesn't seen like much but start and work your way up and in a few days you will feel it! Hope this helps. Stay warm. It is cold here and snowing. I will be nice when spring is here.

the past 3 days I have not been able to go out and walk because its been too cold to take my daughter with me and by the time my husband gets home its even more cold and today its suppose to snow 4 inches. yikes! I don't start curves until next week and i have not been able to do any cardio at all. i have considered running up and down my stairs or even running in place. anyone have any ideas?
