| i know your exact feel my husband is also very slender.. and he also tells me I look fine the way i am but you can as well tell I am fat which he wouldn't dare say.. but I know from experience because before i came onto this site i was about a year ago going to the gym and had lost about 50lbs than well got pregnant and gain back some of that but i have just recently lost 31lbs since having my daughter in may jsust beening activite and and doing house worka dn taking my 3 for walks .. and I know they say u look great but as u get small he will start to compliment u even more and realize u do infact look and feel better and healthier about your self.. so hang in there and just let him know u are doing to be healthier for him as well as yourself and children.. hope this can advice can give u some piece of mind

Maybe you could put it to him this way....
Would he support you if you decided you wanted to go to college? Changed to a better job? Yes, you're smart/already have a great job but there's nothing wrong with bettering yourself and/or your situation.
It's the same way with healthy living. Yes, he thinks you are beautiful the way you are (great guy!) but there's nothing wrong with bettering your health.
Maybe if you put it in that perspective, the perspective of him supporting your goals in bettering yourself maybe he'll see it differently.
