I've been there. I was a stay-at-home mom, too...for 11 years. Now, I'm a grandma to an almost-two-year-old. Looking back in retrospect, I do think I should've hired a babysitter a little more often and done something more for myself (like maybe even working part-time). But now, I also know how fast time goes. Hang in there, and try to get together with other moms and their kids often. That was always a big help and a stress-reliever. I really enjoyed the times I spent just sitting on the floor and playing with my kids. Although at first, I would think of all the things I should be doing, within 15 minutes, I wondered why I'd ever want to be doing anything else. Remember, this too shall pass....

Sometimes I am thankful I work all day but it seems as soon as my 2 year old gets in the car from day care she is a monster. What really frustrates me is that at day care they say she is an angel. WHAT!!!!! she never leaves my side, she is in the kitchen with me when I cook. Right out side the bathroom door waiting and whining when I am going to the bathroom and taking shower. I have other children my only son 12 and twin girls that are 14. You think she would want to hang on them. NOOOO WAY.

Oh my gosh, I'm feeling you there!
I've got two at home with me- ages 2 and 10 months.
I decided that I can not have ice cream in the house anymore. On a "bad" day, once the kids are both napping, I stuff my face!! NOT GOOD!!
