One really cute idea that I saw at a baby shower (which could totally work for a girlie girl) is that everything was pink...even the food! They put food coloring in all the food and all the decorations and everything was pink. It was really need to see how creative they got with pink stuff. They received a pink piggy bank as a gift (with a couple pennies in it to get started). So, a theme can be something as simple as a color.

We just celebrated my son's first birthday so I know what you mean. I soon realized that the first birthday is not really for them... it is for you! This is their day but yours as well so pick a theme you will enjoy too... after all- you did the hard work last year! You could do a spin off of a Sweet Sixteen party.. a little pink boa around her shoulders and a princess tiara. One for you too. Imagine how cute the photos would be of you and her in matching outfits! Cupcakes instead of a regular cake would be something different too. You are so lucky- girl themes are so cute!

Okay. I need some help brainstorming. I am not your average chick. I like to be unique and different from the rest. I have serached the web and just not really liking the ideas that I see. It seems like they have been done over and over again. I will start by giving you an idea of a theme that came to mind and let you guys help me with the rest.
Just to give you some background on my little girl may help also. She is pretty much a girlie girl and already has a purse. She is light-skinned with light brown hair that has golden streaks in it and a curly top.
The theme that I was thinking about was a "Little Sweetie"party. It would mainly consist of pinks and whites with sweets for food(cupcakes,cake,brownies,etc.). I still can not really think of any favors or games that we could play, but I did find a blowup cupcake that is really cute.
Right now I am still open to ideas, but the party is in about three weeks so I need some help.
