I took T'ai Chi for three years... I disagree that it is more for meditation.
But I hope you find something that works for you!

I have actually, just recently, looked into classes and the school I go to offers yoga and Tai Chi. So maybe I will take yoga. I really don't think that Tai Chi will help because that is more for meditation.

Thanks for the helpful answers!!!

You could also take an actually fitness class if your college offers one. Last year I took a Tae Kwon Do class, it gave me 3 credits and toned up my lower half in time for summer.

Last year i worked full time, went to college full time and had a one year old. I took my daughter to the YMCA with me and she got to play with other kids at the gym daycare while i got some much needed me time for an hour. Sometimes you have to sacrifice something in your busy day to take time to yourself. I also have a running stroller i used to take walks or jogs at the local park and the hubby came along too. Now i work full time 3-11 ,I have my daughter and watch her cousin on the days i am off and before i go to work. I take both of them to the gym with me and they enjoy the daycare there. If i didn't exercise this way i would never exercise....lol. I hope you find something that works for you.

Workout dvds. That's usually the only way I can truely get a good workout in. I go to school, work a full time job and have a toddler who doesn't go to daycare. I got tired of choosing between family time and gym time. Check out www.collagevideo.com. It is a whole website for workout dvds. You can preview them and read reviews. You can find them cheaper on Amazon or you can rent them through Netflix. I hope this helps. Good luck with your weight loss adventure.

I have a hard time finding time to work out because I am a full-time college student, I have a five year old daughter, and a husband who suffers from renal failure. I would just like to know how other people make time to get their workouts in.
