Thanks for the replies.
Okay a little additional info. We live in Michigan and the public schools have no alternative educational options for students who are expelled.
The Seton program is probably not for us because we are not catholic.
The abeka program looks perfect butt..homeschooling for us is a very recent necessity and we are not prepared to pay the large down payment ($375) right away. I will keep this program on the list for the future though.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We did find the Penn Foster High School as a very initially cheap option but I would like to talk to get feedback from someone who is using their proram or has used it before commiting to anything.

A friend of mine does the abeka dvd program with her daughter she as done it since she was in kindergarten now she is in 7th grade. I use Seton homeschooling and they have been wonderful but it is a Catholic program you don't have to be Catholic to use it but all material is religious. There are a lot of curriculum and umbrella groups out there. Good luck Beth

| Look at www.abeka.com. Under Abeka Academy there is information about their dvd program-it is terrific. In our area, there are public schools that offer the virtual school program. You might contact your public school to see if they participate.

| Do any of you have a student who goes to a virtual online high school? I am thinking of enrolling my 16 year old in one.
