As I read your text.. I thought what more of a tribute and honor to a grandparent, to see a child to turn his or her life around for the positive and the good!! My favorite most positive person in my life also was my grandmother she loved me for who I was and led me along life in love!! I know your grandmother must be beaming!!! pointing u out to all, "SHE IS MY DAUGHTER".... so nice to read your heart admiration for your grandmother...

My mother left me and my father when I was about a year old. Her mother - my Grandma decided to stay with us and has been raising me and helping my dad ever since. My dad never re married but my mother got married again and has four new children. My Grandma is the person I love like I should love my mother. She sacrificed her life to me and I'm very grateful to her. I've become who I am only thanks to her and my Dad. I have already achieved everything I would like in my life, even though I'm only 20. I'm well educated, I have a great job in the European Union Structures, only thanks to my grandma I'm able to take good care of my daughter... What I wanna say is that Grandparents are very necessary. Without my Grandma I would probably end up like a loser. Thank you for being here, all GRANDPARENTS in the world.

I was in some of the other rooms and noted that, most grandparents are raising their grandchildren, for what ever reasons necessary, would be curious to know -- among all of us, if ths true in our lives and how do we all cope with the age on us and the retirement put off on down the road sometime!!!!
