Fisher-Price Recall

If you read the recall announcement closely, it only affects toys bought between May and Aug of 2007, so if you've bought any of those toys before May, they wouldn't be affected by the recall.

If all 15-20 toys are affected, you don't have to just throw them away--they're giving vouchers for new toys.

Wow, I am going to have to throw out about 15-20 toys. Then my husband pointed out, what about all of the other Fisher-Price toys that aren't on the recall list? Or, even worse, what about all of the toys made in China, period? We're really considering what we're going to do about this. For one thing, we won't be buying any more toys from China, which is going to be really difficult come Christmas time. Hopefully the toy manufacturers take parental concerns into account and stop using Chinese companies. Which, of course, will increase prices . . .
