By the way, when my son showed me his "unmentionables with hair growing", I told him I was proud of him for reaching this stage and I don't need an update in that department again.

| My son is also 12 and shares EVERYTHING with me. I would rather he do this (as uncomfortable as it has been at times for me), than being in the dark about his life. I believe the more a parent and child communicates with one another, the better chance the child will make good decisions in life. Be thankful your son is comfortable around you and able to talk to you. This will be a blessing in his teen years.

| My son just turn 10 and wants to show me the hair under is arm. Of course I dont see any. But does his arm pits smell.

 My son wants to show me everything about himself at 12 years old. His real dad died in 1998 when he was only 3. He has a wonderful stepday, my husband, but he wants to show me everything about himself. He has finally started talking to my husband about girls instead of me. He is just so proud. It's great for him, He goes to the Dr. today to get a physical for football. Maybe that will calm him down some. I sure do hope so. Any help out there?????????????
