Good health and happiness is all we (as parents) want for our children. If your daughter isn't making what you feel to be healthy food choices when she's away from the house, talk to her about it in a gentle way. Teenagers are sensitive to fitting in and good self esteem can be hard to come buy even on their "best" days. If you beleive her food choices are due to being in a hurry or having to "grab something" between school and work, maybe packing her (or having her pack herself) a balanced dinner or snack in advance that she can grab on her way out would be an option. Hang in there and enjoy the family activities together. It's a win for everyone involved.

I appreciate the article on getting your family involve in physical activities and exercise. I would love for my Teenage daughter to exercise more and eat right. She is gaining weight and she also has acne. She works at Sonic and her diet has just been uncontrollable since her employment there. I know her acne would improve if she would just eat healthy and leave off the sodas.
