| Just introduce it slowly and watch out for any signs of an allergy. As long as he doesn't have an allergy or sensitivity to it, he should be fine eating the good stuff.

Thanks! I assumed it was ok for him, but wanted to get another opinion

| I have 3 girls that all ate all the things you mentioned when they started table food and they have never had a problem with it, we make pretty much all of our own bread and only use whole wheat, unless it is sour dough. They have never had any problems with eating the food or digesting it. I do make different food for the kids when I want a salad or something for lunch but we always eat the same thing for dinner.

| I have 2 boys ages 2 & 5. When they started table food I gave them what we ate, which included all the whole grain stuff. They love it and have never had any problems digesting the stuff. I think part of the reasons my boys love fruits, veggies, and whole grains is because it's what they've eaten all along.

| Hey everyone...I'm a single mother of a 9 month old boy and I'm trying to eat healthier. As my son gets older, he is starting to eat more "table" food. I'm wondering if things made with whole wheat flour, brown rice, wheat pasta and things of that nature are easily digested at such a young age? This may be a silly question, but I grew up with white flour, rice and pasta...until recently I didn't know there were other varieties.
