I have a son with Down syndrome too! He is 2.5. He has had 2 open heart surgeries but overall been a very healthy guy!!! Nice to see other parents out there!

I have a daghter Emily who has Downs Syndrome.
She is five. We have been very lucky. She has
been very healthy, and is just a wonderful little
girl. I also have a two year old son.

| Hi, I would like to start a new topic. My twin boys were born in March and both were diagnosed with Down Syndrome. They are doing really well with no heart problems or other issues at this point. I found out after they were born (7weeks early) although I had a high risk AFP screen. We opted against the amnio since this would not have changed anything for us. They are a lot of work but thats because they are twins and I do have a daughter that will turn 4 in July. Please share your stories. Warm regards, Anja
